The University of Queensl Gatton Vocational Education Centre (UQ-GVEC) is offering training in 10 subjects for students to acquire a Diploma of Training Design Development. The TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design Development consists of: Personalised individual learning assessment sessions Group-based learning assessment sessions Flexible (at-home /or at-work) learning assessment. Participants complete tasks in both a simulated environment in their own vocational environment. Participants are provided with ongoing support guidance through course facilitators, online resources print-based learner guides. The TAE50211 Diploma consists of 10 subjects is typically completed within six months. The six-month course completion period can be extended or reduced on a case-by-case basis dependent on participants prior skills knowledge other work commitments. (Not applicable to students deferring their tuition via VET FEE HELP). Group program training schedules can be customised to meet the needs outcomes of the group. For successful completion, students must complete the following 10 subjects: strategies resources tools - Evaluate a training program analysis resources needs - Address adult skills Venue delivery: The UQ-GVEC TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design & Development includes two consecutive days of training each month over a 6 month period. Classes are held at The University of Queensl St Lucia Campus or Gatton Campus (subject to minimum numbers). Description: This qualification reflects the role of training developers instructional designers who are responsible for analysing training needs designing training solutions products to meet workplace capability requirements, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. They may have a role in providing guidance advice to trainers assessors, promoting innovative s, e.g. e-learning, in researching incorporating best in training assessment into training programs products.
TAE50211 Diploma Advantage The TAE50211 Diploma is a professional development pathway qualification for Vocational Education Training (VET) practitioners who have responsibilities that may include: Leading other trainers assessors, mentoring or providing advice to new trainers, designing approaches to learning assessment strategies. The course is designed to be directly relevant to participants immediate work environment responsibilities includes a combination of face-to-face training, hs-on knowledge application workplace practicums. Learning is self-directed participants are encouraged to bring real-life work tasks projects to the course. Graduate Outcomes Career opportunities for graduates of this Diploma may include: Senior Learning Development Coordinator Lead Workplace Trainer /or Assessor. Assessment Assessment is competency based conducted through a combination of on-the-job off-the-job submissions. Successful completion of one or more subjects leads to a Statement of Attainment for those subjects. Participants are advised of opportunities to conduct one activity to satisfy the requirements of more than one subject. Participants are also encouraged to have assessments that flow from one unit to another. Entry Requirements - Qualifications Experience Completion of the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training Assessment vocational experience in training assessment roles within a RTO or similar organisation where the focus is on competency based training. OR Another equivalent, relevant training qualification vocational experience in training assessment roles within a RTO (or similar organisation) where the focus has been on competency based training assessment. OR Demonstrated extensive vocational experience in training assessment roles within a RTO (or similar organisation) where the focus has been on competency based training assessment.
Access to a VET Workplace Environment All applicants must have access to an actual or simulated VET (or similar) workplace environment in order to undertake practical program elements assessment tasks. Literacy Numeracy Skills Applicants must possess literacy numeracy skills equivalent to Level 3 of the National Reporting System: Reading writing - read, comprehend write a range of English language texts within a variety of contexts Oral communication - use respond to English spoken language including some unfamiliar material within a variety of contexts Numeracy mathematics recognise use some of the conventions symbolism of formal mathematics including measurement, graphs simple statistics, use of maps directions, an introductory understing of the use of formulae problem solving strategies. VET FEE-HELP UQ-GVEC is an approved VET FEE-HELP provider. VET FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth Government loan made available to eligible students to help pay part of or all of their full fees up to the FEE-HELP limit over their lifetime. This amount is indexed each year. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Eligible participants can apply for RPL for any or all of the assessment tasks or subjects included in the Diploma. Personalised individual learning assessment sessions provide the optimum format for RPL guidance throughout the course. Cidates may be required to travel to the Gatton Campus or St Lucia Campus for gap training, which may incur a fee. Travel accommodation costs are payable by the cidate. Dual Diplomas Participants enrolled in TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design Development can elect to complete one extra subject at a cost of $410 to achieve the TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education Training.
