Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment comprises of 10 units - 7 core units plus 3 elective units. It is a nationally recognised qualification for anyone who is operating in a training and/or assessing capacity within their organisation, or anyone wishing to become a trainer at an Australian TAFE. This course has been specifically designed to ensure you get the most out of your training. Inspire s Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is clustered, meaning the entire course is delivered in just 3 easy-to-follow workbooks - this is to help you complete your course faster by reducing duplicate content and assessing any learning objectives that overlap across the units just once - rather than repeating the same questions again! Assessment is conducted using a combination of written questions and activities, problem solving scenarios and projects to give you maximum opportunity to develop your training and assessing knowledge. Training Delivery Inspire Education offers the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment via Online/Distance Learning, Blended or Face-to-Face delivery. Online/Distance Learning: This is the most popular method of delivery as Inspire have a continual intake of students on this basis. Students can choose from 6 or 12 month course duration and can study at their own pace. Blended Delivery: Consists of a 5 day face-to-face workshop component plus 6 months to complete the remainder of your qualification via distance learning. Entry Requirements There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however it does require that you have some industry experience, sound language and literacy skills, and basic to medium word processing and computer skills. (NB: If enrolling in a Blended course and your computer skills are below basic please contact Inspire Education to organise hardcopy course materials). Students enrolling in the Online/Distance Learning course will also need access to at least four participants to conduct presentations. This can include any previous training (formal or informal) of previous life or work experience. The RPL process is really straightforward, simply indicate on your enrolment form that you would like to apply for RPL and once your enrolment is confirmed, you will receive an RPL pack to help with evidence collection. Your trainer will also call to go through any potential RPL opportunities you may have. Simple!
