3 GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF MANAGEMENT (LEARNING) Description This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised skills and knowledge in the field of adult language, literacy and numeracy practice. In these roles they generate and evaluate complex ideas through the analysis of policy, information and concepts at an abstract level; and design and implement appropriate responses through a combination of research, targeted strategies for language, literacy and numeracy programs in different contexts, and the application of teaching practices. The diversity of learners attending adult language, literacy and numeracy provision requires effective and innovative educational leaders, program managers and researchers with responsibility for adult language, literacy and numeracy policy development and response, and program design and review. Career Outcomes On successful completion of this course the participant will receive a Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) (BSB80615). Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. 4 Entry Requirements Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points demonstrating potential to undertake study at graduate level, including: With a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma, or a relevant Certificate III or Certificate IV together with significant relevant vocational practice With a higher education qualification, together with relevant vocational practice With the related Graduate Certificate in Management (Learning), which will credit as four elective units towards this qualification (a candidate with this related qualification will be required to successfully complete the two core units and two further elective units to meet the requirements of TAE80210 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)) With extensive relevant vocational practice, without formal qualifications Subjects Total number of units = 8 2 core units 6 elective units

Up to two elective units may be selected from the elective units listed below or any other currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course. Elective units must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level. 6 Delivery & Assessment This qualification is available through an assessment-only pathway. For each unit of competency, candidates will be given the option to demonstrate competency through a combination of any of the following: Written or verbal questions demonstrating the required knowledge Case studies or practical activities demonstrating the required skills Projects based on a real or simulated workplace Portfolio of evidence which may include: Prior qualifications, both accredited and non-accredited Employment history such as position descriptions and performance appraisals Industry appointments such as board and committee roles Publications and journals Samples of work and other relevant documents, photos, videos, etc. Testimonials and other references from verifiable sources Each candidate is assessed individually. Our assessment team will validate the evidence supplied and conduct mapping against the evidence requirements for each unit. Where required, assessors will request additional evidence and provide guidance on suitable types of evidence for the candidate to supply.

7 Course Fees The cost of this qualification is : $3500 We accept payments by cash, cheque, bank deposit and credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). Save money with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) A non-refundable 10% deposit is required to commence the assessment process. The balance is payable after the assessment mapping is complete prior to the qualification being issued. Candidates may submit their resume (or similar work history) and prior qualifications for a no-obligation initial assessment at no cost. This free assessment cannot guarantee that candidates will be eligible for this qualification entirely through RPL as all evidence must be reviewed and mapped to make this determination.
