4 Custom Badges Deliver sponsored badges based on pre- defined behaviors It s no secret that as an exhibitor you want your booth filled with event attendees so that you can educate them on your products or services. Incentivize attendees to visit your booth with custom, sponsored virtual badges. The use of Custom Badges is available to exhibitors that use the in-app lead retrieval system. The cost for the lead retrieval system is $300. Please refer to the document NACBA Lead Retrieval Scanning Guide. To create a custom badge we will need icon artwork (500x500 pixels,.png), name, short description, and criteria for unlocking the badge. Example Several badges were custom built for a select sponsor, and attendees unlocked these badges by checking-into to the sponsor s booth or adding a comment to a sponsorrelated agenda item. 3
5 Promoted Posts Promote your message so that it sticks A Promoted Message is a message pinned to the top of the Activity Feed (typically the most accessed section of the app). A Promoted Message can effectively place your message in front of our audience. Promoted Messages will have a limited duration such as one-half day, so they will have a set start and end time. Promoted Posts have a 140-character maximum and can include a link to a website or an agenda item, as well as an embedded image (640x640 pixels,.png). Examples Google is promoting a giveaway at their booth, and encouraging attendees to visit their workshop at a specified time (traffic-driver!). GoToMeeting is promoting a special offer and driving traffic to a landing page using a link in their Promoted Message. Finally, promoting surveys (with a direct link to the survey) can be another touchpoint for sponsors (also a great way to gather market intelligence during the event). 4
6 Push Notifications Looks like a text, but is pushed through the app A Push Notification is similar to a text message, but it goes through the app itself (not the device). This is a powerful real-time marketing tool and is the most directed 140- character message an exhibitor can send to encourage activity at the event. Example Acme Corp. is using a Push Notification to drive traffic to their booth by promoting a special offer. We will only sell five push notifications per day. 5
7 Sponsored App Section Prime placement in the main menu of the app This is a high-profile sponsorship. An App Section sponsorship provides a high-level of exposure and virtually connects you to every single app user. Sponsor logo artwork should be 320x320 pixels,.png. When the Sponsor s Section is added to the dock section, it will be pinned upon scroll so that it is always visible to the attendee. Example Cisco has paid to sponsor an App Section and gets prime placement within the menu grid. 6
