WELCOME The Mane Event is a family owned enterprise that has been in business since 2004 when the first Mane Event, Equine Education and Trade Fair was held at Heritage Park in Chilliwack, BC. What originally started as a small event has grown incredibly to two large expos one at Heritage Park in Chilliwack, BC every October and one at Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta every April. The expos attract horse enthusiasts from all over BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Washington, Oregon and have even attracted visitors from the Maritimes, the Yukon and Northwest Territories, Ontario, New York State, and the South western United States. The objective of the Mane Event is to encourage riders and horse owners to expand their knowledge and maybe even try a new discipline. We have had the pleasure to work with many of the top trainers and clinicians from Canada, the US and Australia. We offer clinic, demos and presentations on a large variety of equine disciplines including Reining, Jumping, Dressage, Driving, Horsemanship, Barrel Racing and a colt starting competition The Trainers Challenge on a regular basis and sometimes add in Gaited Horses, Western Dressage, Back Country Horsemanship to change things up. Our vendors come from all across Canada and the United States, and we have also even welcomed exhibitors from Europe. The trade show exhibitors offer a multitude of exhibits including some of the best shopping for you and your horse with everything from bits, boots and hats to tack and trailers, as well as equine health information, breed information, trainers, equine associations and riding associations and clubs. Chilliwack Heritage Park in Chilliwack is located just over an hour s drive from the city of Vancouver, BC and an easy 25 minute drive from the Washington state border crossing at Sumas, WA. Heritage Park is located right next to Highway 1 at Exit 116 and has hotels and restaurants within minutes. While the Chilliwack expo is over 55,000 sq. ft. of trade show space with over 160+ vendors. Red Deer Red Deer, AB is located approximately halfway between Alberta s two largest cities Edmonton and Calgary. Westerner Park is located just off Highway 2 that runs between these two cities and is an easy drive from both of these cities as well as offering easy access from Southern and Northern Alberta. The Red Deer expo features over 115,000 sq. ft. of trade show space and 260+ vendors;
SHOWS The Mane Event has become Canada s largest horse exposition with the help of past sponsors and exhibitors. The Working Ranch Challenge is a new annual addition, starting in 2015, to the Mane Event - Canada s largest horse exposition. This event will be held daily over the three days of the Mane Event and will showcase the skills of the cowboys from six historical ranches from British Columbia. These ranches will compete with a 4 person team in 6 events: Team Doctoring, Team Sorting, Team Branding, Trailer Loading, Ranch Horse Race and Individual Bronc Riding. This will be a competition as well as an educational event that will highlight the skills of these working cowboys and show how they handle livestock on a daily basis on the ranch. This is sure to be an exciting and very popular addition to the Mane Event. Our sponsorship programs insures that you will receive the maximum exposure to the thousands of attendees and followers of the Mane Event. MANE EVENT SPONSORSHIP ARENA SPONSORSHIP (2 AVAILABLE) $ 5,000 One of the two arenas will be named Your Company s name or product name arena, with this you will receive exceptional exposure. Your arena will be the main stage where many of our clinics, demonstrations and events are conducted throughout the three (3) days of the Mane Event. The names and/or logo of arena sponsors appear in printed materials including event flyers, posters, direct mail pieces, clinic and seminar schedules, the event program, print media ads, and press releases and the Mane Event website. The Arena name is mentioned by the event announcers many times each day as announcements are made for the presentations taking place in the Arena. Your company also has the option of hanging approved signage in the Arena. TRAINERS CHALLENGE SPONSORSHIP $ 5,000 The sponsor of this event will receive exceptional exposure as this is one of the most popular events of the Expo. As the presenting sponsor of the Trainers Challenge your company will be recognized during each Trainers Challenge Session. The names and/or logo of the Trainers Challenge will appear in printed materials including event flyers, posters, direct mail pieces, clinic and seminar schedules, the event program, print media ads, and press releases and the Mane Event website. Your company name is mentioned by the event announcer many times each day as he announces the presentations taking place for the competition. ROUND PEN SPONSORSHIP $ 3,000 The round pen will be named your company s name or product name Round Pen, with this you will receive exceptional exposure. The round pen is where the Trainers Challenge as well as many of our clinics, demonstrations and events are held throughout the three (3) days of the Mane Event. The Round Pen name is mentioned by the event announcers many times each day as announcements are made for the presentations taking place in the Round Pen. EQUINE EXPERIENCE SPONSORSHIP $ 2,000 The sponsor of the Evening Equine Experience will be recognized throughout the weekend and during the performance. Your company name will be announced throughout Friday and Saturday as the Equine Experience is brought to you by your company name. The name and/or logo of Equine Experience sponsor will appear in printed material including event flyers, posters, direct mail pieces, clinic and seminar schedules, the event program, print media ads, press releases and the Mane Event website. Your company also has the option of hanging approved signage in the Main Arena.
MANE EVENT SPONSORSHIP LECTURE HALL SPONSORSHIP $ 1,000 The Lecture Hall area is used for presentations and demonstrations not requiring a horse, and includes lectures and Q & A sessions from most of the clinicians. Each time a presenter is scheduled they will be announced in your company name lecture hall. The name and/or logo of Lecture Hall sponsor will appear in printed material including event flyers, posters, direct mail pieces, clinic and seminar schedules, the event program, print media ads, press releases and the Mane Event website. Your company also has the option of hanging approved signage in the Lecture Hall. OFFICIAL PRODUCT OF THE SHOW $ 1,000 AND PRODUCT This sponsorship is for products and services that will be used by The Mane Event at the expo or during the marketing of the event. Each time your product or service is used our announcers will read a short announcement on your company and thank you. The name and/or logo will appear in printed materials including event flyers, posters, direct mail pieces, clinic and seminar schedules, the event program, print media ads, and press releases and the Mane Event website. COURTESY SHOPPING BAG SPONSORSHIP $ 1,000 Your company may elect to receive event-wide exposure by sponsoring (and providing) the attendee courtesy shopping bags that are distributed at the entrance doors and other high-traffic locations throughout the event. WRC SPONSORSHIP Ranch Team Sponsor $ 1,000 Here is an excellent way to get your company name out there for some super exposure! Each ranch will be announced as your company name - Ranch name team. The Ranch Team sponsor is mentioned by the event sponsors many times each day as they announce the events taking place. Your company name/logo will be on the page in the show guide presenting the Ranch team. Your company also has the option of hanging approved signage in the main arena. Chute Sponsorship $ 750.00 We will have 6 chutes for all of the action in the WRC and we will provide a large sign on each chute with the sponsors name and/or logo that will be visible for the entire Mane Event and WRC. The chute will be announced as your company name chute. The name and/or logo of chute sponsors will appear in printed materials including event flyers, posters, direct mail, event schedules, the event program, print media ads, and press releases and the Mane Event website. Gear Bag Product Sponsorship Various Investment What a GREAT way to get some extra exposure at the Expo and WRC! This is a sponsorship of products that the cowboys will enjoy and find useful to be placed in the gear bag. A letter will be placed in all Gear Bags with the information of the products donated and by what company. This full colour glossy magazine will contain a map of the trade floor, list of trade show exhibitors, a complete schedule of events and detailed biographies of the featured clinicians and speakers.
