Meet Your Instructors: Allen Hunsberger, C.P.M.: Allen Hunsberger is Purchasing Manager for the County of San Diego, Department of Purchasing and Contracting, overseeing the purchase of goods and services, the administration of the Procurement Card program, and property disposal. Mr. Hunsberger has prior procurement experience as a Procurement Specialist, Senior Procurement Specialist, and Procurement Contracting Officer with the County of San Diego. He was also an ERP System Administrator, managing enterprise procurement applications including Oracle Purchasing, an e-procurement web application (BuyNet), and an electronic document management system for contracts. Mr. Hunsberger has a B.A. in Physics from the University of California at San Diego, and an MBA from San Diego State University, He is also an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Gene Clark, C.P.M., CPPO: Gene Clark has 24 years procurement experience in public and private sectors. He currently works as Deputy Director for the County of Sonoma. Prior to being deputy, Gene was the County of Sonoma s Purchasing Manager. Gene has a Master of Science Degree in Procurement and Contract Management from Saint Mary s College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University at Sacramento. William Hornung, MBA, C.P.M.: William Hornung has a MBA in Business Administration from San Diego State, graduated cum laude; over 25 years of purchasing experience in the public and private sectors.
