4 About the Speaker Ryan Hunsicker, PLS, GISP is a supervising Land Surveyor at the County of San Bernardino Surveyor s office. Ryan has work for the the County of San Bernardino for the past 14 years, where he has served as a Deputy County Surveyor in charge of final maps, road right-of-way dedications, reviewing and preparing Local Agency Formation maps and legal descriptions, GIS, and special projects. Ryan received his land surveying license in 2007 and has been certified by the GIS Certification Institute as a GIS professional. Ryan serves as a Director for the California Land Surveying Association (CLSA) and is the GIS Committee Chair for CLSA which includes serving as liaison to the California Geodetic Control Working Group. Ryan is a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) and the Southern California Chapter of URISA. He currently is the GIS coordinator for the County of San Bernardino Department of Public Works and is in charge of overseeing the spatial accuracy of the County of San Bernardino GIS parcel database. Ryan has presented and has written articles on the subject of integrating GIS technology with the land surveying profession.
