Contemporary Management of Cardiovascular Disease Join us at and s Contemporary Management of Cardiovascular Disease. This course delivers an update on the management of common yet complex cardiovascular conditions. Health care providers can rely on this course for critical updates and recommendations for incorporating them into your practice. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Physicians providing adult primary care, cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and other health care professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Review research on lipid reduction strategies and cardiovascular risk reductions. Describe strategies for incorporating key elements of health care reform into specialty cardiovascular practices. Summarize how the impact of developments in advanced heart failure care have affected decision-making strategies. Compare risks and benefits for coronary artery bypass grafting versus percutaneous coronary intervention for revascularization. Detail developments in management of structural heart disease including indications and outcomes of transcatheter approaches and minimally invasive surgical repair of mitral valve disease. Demonstrate knowledge of hybrid approaches for atrial fibrillation ablation including techniques and patient selection.
