Christmas Eve Saturday 24th December 2016 Arrive at leisure to enjoy afternoon tea in our comfy lounges. Let the festive spirit continue with a glass of fizz followed by a sumptuous dinner and music from our resident pianist. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass, mulled wine, Christmas cake and mince pies will be served on your return. Christmas Day Sunday 25th December 2016 A leisurely breakfast is served in the restaurant from 8am 10am. Christmas Day lunch is a relaxed affair (served from 1pm 3pm), consisting of five courses. Later in the evening graze on a lavish evening buffet whilst enjoying an organised selection of family games to challenge and entertain old and young alike. Boxing Day Monday 26th December 2016 Following a hearty breakfast wrap up warm and join our guided walk to Rievaulx Abbey where hot chocolate and mince pies await you. If that all sounds too tiring, enjoy some sheer indulgence in the Verbena Spa. In the evening, join your fellow house guests for a Black Tie dinner with live music, which starts with a Champagne drinks reception from 7pm. New Year s Eve Saturday 31st December 2016 Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy afternoon tea by the fire and soak up the New Year atmosphere in Helmsley. Enjoy pre-party pamperfection in the Verbena Spa, or enjoy a walk in some of the stunning countryside surrounding the hotel.
