WELCME DINNER 6PM-8PM A casual cookout to kickoff the wedding weekend. If you re arriving late, no worries! Join us anytime before 8pm. WHITEWATER RAFTING 1PM Feeling adventurous? A whitewater run at the nearby Nantahala utdoor Center should do the trick! Additional $50 / person. REHEARSAL DINNER 6PM All guests staying at the Hawkesdene Estate are invited to the rehearsal dinner. Dress is casual. BNFIRE 8PM-UNTIL Laughter, s mores, storytelling, and drinks around the bonfire! THE BIG DAY! 4PM Wedding ceremony followed by dinner and dancing! Dressy casual; flats or wedges recommended for the ladies. For more information on SEND-FF BREAKFAST 8:30AM-10:00AM Share stories from the weekend over a delicious breakfast buffet. With this being a destination wedding in the North Carolina mountains, there are several details that we wanted to pass along to you before your arrival: Schedule of Events THURSDAY MARCH 27, 2014: 4:00 pm, Check in to Hawkesdene Estate *note: when you arrive, there is no official check-in. The estate is ours for the entire weekend. You are welcome to go directly to your room or cabin. 11 We found our perfect wedding venue in Andrews, North Carolina: hawkesdene Estate Hawkesdene is a breathtaking private mountain estate with luxury accommodations located on 33 acres with views overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains and grounds offering activities for everyone. The estate has everything we wanted and more for our big day & we cannot wait to share it with our closest family & friends! We have booked the entire estate for the weekend & it is ours exclusively. The estate is made up of the main house and 7 cottages totaling 23 bedrooms in all. We will arrive Thursday afternoon, March 19th and check-out Sunday, March 22nd. We are hoping our guests will arrive on Thursday and spend the day relaxing on the property on Friday, however; arriving Friday is an option. Rehearsal Dinner is Friday evening, March 20 & the Ceremony & Reception will be held on Saturday evening, March 21st. The onsite, all-inclusive accommodations & activities include Luxury furnishings & bedding Catered meals & snacks to include breakfast, lunch & dinner Unlimited beverages including coffee, soft drinks, and water We are supplying alcohol, beer & wine Hawkesdene will supply the mixers Unrestricted access to the entire facility including game room Challenge the gang to a game of pool, ping pong, corn hole or horse shoes.
