2 Downtown Magazine is a quarterly publication. Part city magazine, part guide, readers will find interesting and topical editorials and profiles as well as a comprehensive dining guide and datebook sharing info on what to do and where to go downtown! The look and feel of our magazine is fresh and uncomplicated. It is not a sea of advertisements and it does not focus on photos of Houston s who s who at our local charity functions. Our target audiences are the workers, residents, and visitors, both local and out-of-town, in and around downtown. What else makes Downtown Magazine different from other Houston publications? First, ours is the ONLY publication dedicated to downtown what to do, where to go, how to get there, who are the players and how we are growing. More importantly though, is that the magazine is being published by two downtown organizations the Downtown District and the Houston Downtown Alliance. Between our two organizations we are involved in EVERY major project and event that happens downtown whether it is the development of a new entertainment and retail project, the opening of a new theater production or the announcement of a new high-rise office tower. We are supplementing the costs of the publication with our own budgets in order to NOT overrun the publication with ads. We view our advertisers as partners and since less than 25% of our pages will be ads, we feel that you will receive greater exposure, positioning and value for your dollar. Your ad will not get lost in a sea of ads like other Houston magazines! Using a digital publishing platform, we have taken our printed magazine and created a captivating and interactive online resource for readers. This very cool page turning platform holds the readers interest and gives them instant access to advertisers in a manner traditional print never could.
