4 Studio. Experience and expertise. Behind Studio is one of the UK s most experienced design journalists Kate Burnett. Kate is in touch with many hundreds of architects and interior designers, manufacturers, consultants and individual designer makers and knows many of them personally. Building up these contacts over many years, Kate knows how this industry works. After re-training in interior design, Kate worked in professional practice with one of the UK s leading architects. She then returned to journalism specializing in contemporary design and architecture and was editor of idfx for over four years. Kate is now a respected journalist and editor, and has been a regular contributor to London s Evening Standard as well as writing for quality titles such as the Financial Times, Blueprint and Elle Decoration. She is also a consultant to several leading design brands and is regularly invited to take part in industry events. Studio understands the issues that motivate this group of professionals.
