Thank you for considering holding your wedding ceremony and or reception here at The Black Horse Inn, Pilgrim Suite. We are delighted you are thinking of us for such an important occasion which can cater for guests from 40 to 100. You can get married in the lovely gazebo in the private gardens all year round or the restaurant conservatory. In the winter you can get married in The Pilgrim Suite if you prefer which is adorned with hops and has a fireplace and its own bar which is private from the pub. (max 50 guests to the day during winter but up to 100 total including evening) We have 27 en-suite bed and breakfast rooms in the grounds so please ask for availability and prices. If you are hiring The Pilgrim Suite you will be required to hire from 2 16 of these rooms depending on the number of your guests. This is due to parking and the disturbance of non-wedding guests.

MENU 1 SELECTOR selection from each course will be required plus vegetarian option if required STARTERS Carrot and coriander soup with a coriander crème fraiche Carpaccio of melon with summer fruit salad and raspberry coulis Tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad with pesto and basil dressing Smooth chicken liver pate with caramelised onion chutney and rustic bread Leek and potato soup garnished with chives MAIN COURSE Roast stuffed loin of pork, compote of apples, roast potatoes, vichy carrots and green beans Cheese stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon on a bed of creamed leeks with roast potatoes and chefs vegetables Seared fillet of salmon on crushed potatoes with a cream dill sauce and griddles courgette salad Goats cheese and red onion tart with sautéed potatoes and dressed salad with herb croutons Roast lamb with apricot stuffing, served with lyonnaise potatoes, medley of roast vegetables and a red wine and mint sauce Roasted breast of chicken with dauphinoise potatoes, fine green beans and a mushroom cream sauce Beef Bourguignon with leeks and mushrooms in a rich red wine sauce served with a selection of potatoes and vegetables DESSERTS Chocolate profiteroles filled with fresh cream Lemon cheesecake, tangy and fresh with raspberry coulis Strawberry shortcake with strawberries and cream Chocolate torte with cream Cheese and biscuits with grapes and celery (can be served as additional course 3.95)

12 Terms and Conditions for A Kentish Ceremony Provisional Bookings will be held for a period of 14 days pending your completed booking form. Confirmation You will be required to complete the booking form with your ceremony co-ordinator. If hiring The Pilgrim Suite for a day reception guests must vacate by 7pm. Without exception if hiring The Pilgrim Suite for a day and evening reception guest must vacate by 12 midnight. The bar will close at 11pm and music will stop. Coffee will be available from 11pm until 11.30pm. Catering All catering is to be undertaken by The Black Horse Inn Deposits A non-refundable deposit of 500 is required to secure your booking. Final numbers will be required 21 days in advance and an invoice will be issued and due for payment. All prices are inclusive of VAT. If paying by cheque, please note that we would need to ensure that the cheque has cleared prior to your ceremony date. Cash, Debit Card or Credit Card will be accepted. If paying by credit card a 2% fee will be added to cover the charges. A 10% service charge will be applied to food only (not whole bill) which will go to staff. Any drinks purchased on the day must be paid for in full no credit accounts will be authorised. Cancellation Notice of cancellation must be given in writing. Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation unless your date can be replaced with another ceremony. We reserve the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on our part in the event of any damage or destruction of the facilities by fire, storm or other cause, any shortage of labour or food supplies, strikes, walkouts or industrial unrest or any other cause which shall prevent us from performing our obligation in connection with any booking. In these circumstances all monies will be refunded. If Cancellation notice is less than 12 weeks you will be charged for 25% of the estimated bill We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by you or your guests during an event. We observe the licensing laws without exception All guests should adopt reasonably smart dress appearance. You and your guests are required to act responsibly during and after the event. If staff are not happy with the behaviour of any guests they will be asked to leave without any further negotiation. You or an appointed person should remain on the premises until all guests have left. Any property of the customer (eg Flowers, decorations) must be removed by 11am on the day after the event or earlier should the Gazebo or Pilgrims suite be in use the next day. Car Parking- This is available free of charge in the designated car park behind the Pilgrim Suite. We cannot guarantee any spaces, which are on a first come first served basis. We will not be held responsible for any loss or problems arising from the car parking and do not accept any responsibility for theft of/from or damage to vehicles. All children should be strictly supervised at all times. Insurance We strongly advise you take out wedding/function insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Music Low volume music is allowed in the gazebo garden area. The volume of music will be controlled by staff only and is not negotiable. Music during the reception such as harpists are usually allowed but please discuss with co-ordinator. Any disco hired must be arranged through Nos Ryan Agents and all evening music will be required to stop at 11pm without exception. If The Pilgrim Suite is hired for the evening with up to 60 guests in total 2 rooms next to the suite require to be hired rooms allocated by the wedding co-ordinator If The Pilgrim Suite is hired for the evening with up to 80 guests in total then 6 rooms must be hired rooms allocated by the wedding co-ordinator If The Pilgrim Suite is hired for the evening with up to 100 guests in total then 16 rooms must be hired rooms allocated by the wedding co-ordinator. Accommodation Check in for accommodation is 3pm. For guests who want to get ready in their rooms it is best that they book a room the night before the ceremony. All guests are required to check out by 11am on date of departure. I hereby acknowledge receipt of The Black Horse Inn Terms and Conditions which are understood and accepted. Signed.. Signed... Date

13 FOR HIRE Keep your cards safe with our replica Royal Mail Post Box which is lockable. Available in red or white and personalised with your own details. 30 to hire on booking with 100 deposit payable one week before the wedding/event which is returnable when the box is returned without damage. (has never happened but the boxes are very expensive so we have to have it in our Terms and Conditions sorry!) For The Black Horse Inn customers the box will be positioned for you where agreed and returned so all you have to do is book it! Also available to hire is our decorated antique bird cage with a lift up lid for cards. This is 25 to hire on booking with 50 returnable deposit payable one week in advance of your wedding.
