1 Job Description Job Title Responsible to Location Sales and Marketing Manager Freedom Leisure Training Business Manager Burgess Hill/East Hoathly Job Purpose To generate additional Course sales and Work Based Learning recruitment, to increase awareness Freedom Leisure Training across a wide spectrum of customers, to develop the brand, and to advise on and contribute to the sales and marketing strategy of the business. Key Relationships Courses and Work Based Learning Managers Admin Manager Course and WBL Co-ordinators Central Marketing Team Various Businesses and Organisations Schools and Colleges Main Duties To contribute to and lead the development of the sales and marketing strategy, advising and leading the senior management team. To manage the production of all marketing material, customer information and website content. To manage all marketing communication with eternal and potential customers, eg through the website and various social media. To manage all structured communication with eisting customers, eg newsletters, s, tets, through website etc. To be responsible for monitoring and measuring course sales and learner recruitment, advising on results as necessary. To be responsible for monitoring and measuring trainee, learner and funding partner satisfaction, advising on feedback as necessary. To support the Courses and Work Based Learning Managers, helping them achieve their overall sales, growth and other financial targets.

2 To be individually responsible for the delivery of sales targets linked to campaigns as agreed with the Business Manager. To work directly with the Business Manager, identifying and developing partnership and other business development opportunities with organisations such as training providers or educational establishments. To work directly with the Business Manager, identifying contract opportunities and submitting bids. To carry out actions and tasks as required according to agreed campaigns. These may include outbound calls, initiating shots, responding to calls and s etc. To contribute to the management of the business as part of the senior management team. To link with businesses, schools, colleges, local authorities and other organisations across the region to stimulate course sales. To link with schools, colleges, students and other organisations across the region to provide information, guidance and advice, and stimulate WBL recruitment. To oversee the management of all course and WBL enquiries, liaising with the Course and WBL Co-ordinators. To liaise with, train and motivate site based reception teams and other staff to help promote training and work based learning services. To update and inform all Freedom Leisure staff on Freedom Leisure Training services, both regarding their own training and to encourage them to promote the business eternally. To maintain and improve the quality of all site based advertising is ensure it is updated. To measure the financial effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns. To be the principal point of contact for the central marketing team, seeking advice on how best to market and sell training and work based learning, and linking with site based marketing initiatives wherever possible. To attend business to business and careers events, liaising directly with potential customers and learners. To present to businesses, schools, other organisations and various decision makers and give talks as requested. To monitor competitor activity and amend marketing strategies as necessary. To present to the Eecutive Management Team and Board as requested. To train other Freedom Leisure Training staff, including trainers and assessors, in developing their sales skills when working with customers and learners. To consider the delivery of sales and marketing courses to internal and eternal customers if agreed with the Business Manager. General To fully participate in the performance review process and personal development planning.undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and agreed with line manager.

3 Occasionally training, or meetings are organised outside normal working hours. The postholder will be epected to attend whenever reasonably practicable. To achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales. To contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams in which he / she works. To undertake any other duties at the request of the line manager or eecutive director team which are commensurate with the role, including project work, internal job rotation and absence cover.
