To represent the Service at relevant working groups and partnership working meetings and develop good working relationships with community and other groups. To function as lead officer dealing with major development projects. Key Results Areas Financial Management 1. To function as lead officer dealing with major development projects ensuring all requirements of funding bodies are met and coordinating statistical returns tom such bodies. 2. To be responsible for the monitoring of the Integrated Family Support Service budgets and the provision of accurate financial data and information to the Social Services Accountancy Team. 3. To be responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of all financial and related Administrative processes for the Integrated Family Support Service and communicating with budget managers to ensure services meet Audit requirements. 4. To take a lead role in the production of internal and external funding bids (in consultation with Service Managers) and the establishment of Service Level Agreements, which will monitor and evaluate against agreed targets. 5. To assist with the preparation of financial reports for relevant senior officers and Councillors. 6. To be responsible for the provision of research and briefing to all managers in the Service areas.

2 Service and Systems Management 7. To develop a strategy for the management and development of Information Technology and systems across the Integrated Family Support Service and lead on projects set up to implement and develop IT systems, ensuring systems are developed to their full potential to meet the needs of the service. 8. To lead in establishing and maintaining performance management systems to improve and develop the efficiency of the Service consistent with agreed national standards and service strategies. 9. To develop an manage the Service s building and accommodation strategy by anticipating future demand and ensuring building works are undertaken, and that security and cleaning standards are maintained. 10. To coordinate the management and Health and Safety at work within the Integrated Family Support Service: this will include the development of a Health and Safety action plan for the Service, the production of risk assessments, ensuring the maintenance of appropriate registers and documentation, and communication with, and training of employee s in relation to health and safety issues. 11. To manage the development and implementation of the Integrated Family Support Service annual training plan in liaison with the Training Manager Social Services. 12. To be a member of the Integrated Family Support Service senior management team, and to participate in the development and implementation of the Integrated Family Support Service annual Service Plan. 13. To prepare and present reports and recommendations to Cabinet and Head of Service when required. Staff Management 16. To be responsible for the appointment, and line management, of the Administration and Support Team ensuring the highest possible standards of customer care and service. 17. To be responsible for the coordination of Human Resources Administration for the Integrated Family Support Service including recruitment and selection, training and induction processes, and to provide advice and guidance to operational managers on human resource procedures. 18. To be responsible for the coordination of administrative support to the Integrated Family Support Service when required. 19. To provide advice and guidance to Integrated Family Support Service staff on administrative systems and procedures, including the provision of on-the job training and ensuring that relevant training manuals are maintained and updated. 20. To implement and monitor the Council s Social Services and Human Resources policies and procedures. 21. To represent the Integrated Family Support Service in partnership groups and establish good working relationships with Communities and other groups ensuring they are fully involved in the development of local plans. Qualifications and xperience ducation to a degree level or equivalent Possess a relevant business, administrative or financial qualification OR a minimum of four years experience at middle management level in a business role.
