NFFX was established as an inter-cmmunity partnership between the cities f Nürnberg and Fürth in the year It is funded by the Bavarian Ministry f Ecnmic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technlgy. It is supprted by the Business Prmtin Agency f the State f Bavaria - Invest in Bavaria - and the Nuremberg Chamber f Cmmerce and Industry. WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF NFFX BUSINESS SUPPORT CENTER? The bjectives f NFFX are t enhance the attractiveness f the cities f Nürnberg and Fürth t freign businesses and investrs and t make it easier fr small and medium-sized cmpanies frm abrad t search fr market pprtunities and cperatin partners, t gain an rganizatinal fthld in the regin and, hence, generate jbs. T this end, NFFX facilitates custmized services funded by the Bavarian Ministry f Ecnmic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transprt and Technlgy. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF FUNDS? Based n an inter-cmmunity agreement between the cities f Nürnberg and Fürth, the Office fr Ecnmic Develpment f the City f Nürnberg is respnsible fr managing the prvisin f funds t Cmpany. WHAT ARE THE FUNDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS? Natural r legal persns wh currently have n headquarters, ffices r branches lcated in Germany are eligible t apply fr funding. The target grups fr the funding are small and medium-sized cmpanies headquartered abrad. Accrding t Cmmissin Regulatin (EC) N. 1998/2006 f 15 December 2006 n the applicatin f Articles 87 and 88 f the Treaty t de minimis aid (available at LexUriServ. d?uri=celex:32006r1998: EN:HTML), the NFFX Spnsrship Prgram is deemed t be de minimis aid. Therefre, the cmpany submitting the applicatin will be required t cnfirm that a) it is familiar with the afrementined Cmmissin Regulatin, and b) it has nt btained any de minimis aid ver the past three fiscal years, as specified in the afrementined Cmmissin Regulatin. If the cmpany submitting the applicatin has btained de minimis aid ver the past three fiscal years, the ptin t receive funding thrugh the NFFX Spnsrship Prgram will be assessed n a case-by-case basis. 2 Cnditins fr the Cmpany t receive funding include that it prvide prf f its distinct intentin t search fr market pprtunities and cperatin partners, t gain an rganizatinal fthld in the regin and, hence, generate jbs. The Cmpany and/r Cmpany s members must be well established and have psitive reputatins in the market in their respective hme cuntries. Upn NFFX s demand, adequate dcumentatin cncerning the existing cmpany and its intentin t settle in Germany must be prvided, and the names f its representatives and/r members must be indicated. NFFX has t be prvided with a detailed business plan als indicating adequate dcumentatin cncerning the existing cmpany, its intentin t settle in Germany and the names f its representatives and/r members. There is n legal entitlement t receive funding. WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF FUNDING? The funding perid will be t a maximum f three mnths. The maximum amunt t which the use f ffice space, related services and cnsultatin services (Welcme Package) can be subsidized is 10, (in wrds: ten thusand five hundred EUR). Funding will be prvided within the framewrk f the maximum amunt and will vary by cmpany. The amunt f funding prvided will be based n the individual cmpany s use f staff and resurces and n its prspects f success. The prvisin f funds will be subject t availability and authrizatin by the Funding Bard. Funding may be limited t designated purpses and/r t a certain amunt. Funding will be available fr ffice premises and ffice services and fr cnsultatin and supprt services (the Welcme Package) HOW DOES FUND MANAGEMENT WORK? The Cmpany will cnclude cntracts fr subsidized services directly with the respective prviders and initially will settle the respective invices. By the end f the funding perid, at the latest, hwever, by the end f the funding perid plus tw mnths the Cmpany will issue a final invice t NFFX pursuant t the expense settlement frm Annex 3 and will enclse cpies f the respective service cntracts, invices, receipts and payments. NFFX will reimburse the Cmpany fr net expenses (withut tax) incurred up t the amunts set ut in 4 and will transfer the funds t its bank accunt. WHAT DOES IS MEAN IN DETAIL: Funding will be available fr ffice premises and ffice services and fr cnsultatin and supprt services (the Welcme Package) The service prvider partnering with NFFX is the Bavarian Business Center Nürnberg (hereinafter BBC-N ) The Cmpany will cnclude an agreement directly with BBC-N that will regulate the prvisin f ffice space and ffice services accrding t demand. This agreement can be cncluded fr a limited r fr an unlimited time (t stay in yur ffice lngterm). Hwever, funding f NFFX is limited t three mnths. The fllwing services regarding tax, legal and real estate matters in cnnectin with the establishment and/r settlement f the Cmpany in the Nürnberg/Fürth regin will be funded as part f the prject: market research studies cnstructin f hmepages, brchures and accmpanying translatins as well as participatin at trade fairs cncerning the target markets Cmpany wants t enter frm their NFFX Base services in cnnectin with establishing the Cmpany (e.g., ntary publics, trade register registratin, registratin f a business, etc.) tax and legal cnsultatin services required fr the Cmpany t take up peratins and the prvisin f supprt with fiscal detectin/registratin as well as with the implementatin and management f accunting matters NFFX tries t be as flexible as pssible if the service yu are lking fr is nt included, please get in cntact with [email protected], directly t check pssibilities Travel, meal, and ther miscellaneus expenses and disbursements incurred by Cmpany and/r its representatives and staff will nt be reimbursed Upn demand, NFFX will supprt the Cmpany in the selectin f cnsultants and integratin specialists.
