1 For the past 15 years, members of the community have been coming together each summer to support the youth of Ottawa through this great event. The opportunities we create for youth would not be possible if it weren t for people and organizations like you. The 15th Annual Mayor s Charity Golf Classic is shaping up to be even more exciting than ever before and we hope to raise a new record to help benefit the amazing youth of our city! 2 About Us- Empowering youth to spark remarkable change and take action. Youth Ottawa (formerly Child and Youth friendly Ottawa) is a not-for-profit charity that envisions an Ottawa where youth drive positive change. Our vision is based on our belief in youth. We support Ottawa youth by encouraging them to seize opportunities, harness their ideas and spark change. Youth Ottawa is an umbrella organization that info@youthottawa.ca Youth Ottawa s Programs and Events The Spirit of the Capital Youth Awards is our showcase event. Held annually in the spring, in 2015 Youth Ottawa celebrated hosting its 19th year of hosting the event. The event brings together organizations from across our community to recognize and celebrate local and global contributions of Ottawa youth. The Ottawa Youth Engagement Committee works to increase youth engagement in decision making within the City of Ottawa and strives to engage the non-engaged and underrepresented communities, in action and through representation. The For Youth By Youth (FYBY) program allows youth participants to develop media and video production skills, and be exposed to social responsibility and civic engagement. Youth learn to leverage the power of the arts for positive social change and community building. DILA Facilitators run an eight-visit program designed to help youth engage in the issues that matter to them. Predominantly working with Civics classes to we reach roughly 1,800 students per year. DILA commits to bringing in community organizations and leaders actively working towards improving the issues important to youth/students.

3 Stonebridge Golf Club Nestled within a lush rolling landscape of verdant parkland and the picturesque Jock River, Stonebridge Golf Club is one of the finest 18-hole championship public courses in the National Capital Region. Professionally designed by noted architect Ted Baker, a Canadian designer best known for Lionhead Golf Club in Toronto, Stonebridge was constructed to USGA specifications in 1999/2000 and officially opened its doors for business on May 1,
