1 Communication via Internet Type of communication: Preconditions: Sending purchases via internet (POP3/SMTP) Internet-Connection (via Modem, DSL, Cable, Dedicated line etc.) an own account (POP3/ESMTP) for (No alias of an existing account!) Please refer to us, so we can arrange an account for you. (This service is to Internorm customers offered free of charge by the industry) After the address was set up, you will receive your password and a setup file which you have to implement into your moveit@iss+ installation in [File] [ISS Tools] [Programs] [Update]. (See 1.) Warning: The address may only be used for moveit@iss+ purchases! 1. Make sure the mail server is reachable, by following these steps: In case you aren't permanently connected to the internet (dedicated line etc.) please establish a connection to the internet now. Start moveit@iss+ and go to the communication system ([Systems] [File] [Communication system]) and check if moveit@iss+ can establish a connection to the mail server mail.moveitorder.com by pressing [Tools] [Check Mailserver Connection]. Please make sure your Firewall / AntiVirus etc. is configured the way you can communicate with the mailserver mail.moveitorder.com through the ports 25 and 110. In case you encounter the message: 'No connection could be built up to server!', please let your system-administrator / computing consultant check your configuration. Seite 1 von 11

2 Possible frequent causes: No connection to the internet No connection to the server / router Anti-Virus blocks SMTP/POP proxy Firewall In case your provider blocks port 25, you can alternatively use the port 587 (only for SMTP) for sending s over the mailserver moveitorder.com. Therefore, after setting up the communication, please enter 587 instead of 25 in SMTP- Server Port in the menu [Options] [Communication assistant... <Internet>]. 2. Communication assistant The communication assistant is started automatically while implementing the setup-file, you can manually start it at any time in moveit@iss+ [Systems] [File] [Communication system] [Options] [Communication assistant... <Internet>] Seite 2 von 11

3 -address: Company-name: Base-directory: Your address for purchases Here you can enter your company's name. Automatically generated - please do not modify! Type of connection: Permanent (when connection to the internet through network, dedicated line or similar) Modem (when connection through modem/isdn) TS/RAS connection: Only required when type of connection is via modem. SMTP-Server: POP3-Server: Login-Name: SMTP-Server Port: Port through which you are reached. POP3-Server Port: Port through which you are reached. The login name for the specified SMTP and POP3 Servers. Enabling 'Save password' remembers your password once you entered it. The passwordrequest occurs after pressing [Send/Receive]. In the left half of the window, you can see a list of installed suppliers. You have to enter your customer number in every supplier, to which you want to communicate! Seite 3 von 11

4 Per double-click on the supplier you can activate/deactivate the communication. Before leaving the assistant by pressing 'OK', please make sure that in every supplier, to which the communication will be established, your customer number is entered and that every supplier is activated (X in the first column). With the button [Reset] you can reset all the settings back to the beginning. Warning: After pressing the [Reset] button, you have to close the interface with the button 'OK'! Warning: Before you can communicate with a supplier, you have to publish your e- mail address! To enable online communication with the industry, send an with your moveit@iss+ purchase- address and your customer number to the specific contact person (see below). 5 In 'Communication technique' you have to check 'Exchange of data per SMTP / POP - server', confirm this with the button 'OK' - in case some required paths aren't filled yet, moveit@iss+ will now ask you to complete the form. Confirm the message with 'OK'. In 'Age of a message in days...' you can specify the period of time for the reorganisation of the communication log-files. Please do not enter 0! Furthermore, you can specify the type of connection and the RAS-connection, please do not change any other preferences! Seite 5 von 11

Communication system Operator s Sending the error log-file to operator: In [Options] [Operator s] you can enter an address, to which an automatic is sent, in case of an error (entry in the error log-file). This is only possible, when the occuring error doesn't block sending mails. This is especially recommended for larger organisations, which use the communication system running automatically. 5. 7 In case you find an error there, please go to [Options] [Communication assistant... <Internet>] and make sure you entered all required settings ( address, type of connection, mailserver, login-name, customer number at the supplier and activated (X) all the ones you want to communicate with). Please check the connection to the mailserver mail.moveitorder.com by pressing [Tools] [Check Mailserver Connection]. 5.1 Checking incoming and outgoing messages: Switch to the communication log-file ([File] [Logfile of communication]) Seite 7 von 11

8 Here you can see all incoming and outgoing mails in the last n days (Settings Reorganisation n days). The column [Content] contains the order-number, which was sent on the date and time of the centred column. 5.2 Checking Order Confirmation, Receipt and Deviation-Info After the industry sent back the order confirmation, receipt and deviation-information and it was successfully received in the moveit@iss+ communication system, you can display the ones for the selected purchase in [Menu] [Display] [Purchase-information] or with the symbol 'Purchase-information'. 9 Possible states: Not sent: The purchase couldn't yet be sent. Clear to send: The purchase is clear to be sent, however, it wasn't sent yet. Already sent: The purchase was already sent. Receipted: Arrived at the industry and received the receipt. Warning: A receipt is not an order confirmation! Electronic CO available: You received an electronic confirmation of order through your moveit@iss+ system. Deviation info available: You received an electronic confirmation of order including deviation information. Seite 9 von 11

10 No receipt arrived yet: The purchase was already sent but no order confirmation or receipt arrived in your system Done: The status 'Done' was set by the user (can be set back manually). The individual statuses are also displayed in the document overview with help of the different status-colours. Furthermore you have the possibility to filter specified statuses, therefore go to [Menu] [Filter] [Set filter...] at tab [Status information], here you can activate or deactivate the desired statuses per double-click. 5.3 Configurating electronic order confirmation: Warning: Requirement for an order confirmation or deviation information is, that the particular industry required this feature from us. 11 When the order confirmation and the deviation information were sent back from the industry and received in your communication system of you have the possibility to monitor the communication status in the purchase-system in [Menu] [Display] [Purchase-information] Header-variations are displayed in the window [Purchase-information]. When "Position infos available" is checked, position deviations have been made. By pressing the button [Positions] the interface [Purchase-information of positions] will pop-up. Here are technical-, commercial- and parameter-variations displayed. In addition, you can also display the order confirmation and deviation-information in [Purchase-information] with the buttons [Display CO] or [Display deviation-infos].
