November 2013 : new owner CVC Capital Partners 300 institutional, governmental and private investors worldwide CVC's funds are invested in over 550 companies worldwide which employ over 400,000 people and generate combined annual sales of approximately US$130 billion. February 2014 : Campbell s Europe became Continental Foods Europe 3

9 The challenge (1) Migrate all IT services delivered by Campbell Soup Company to Continental Foods. In 12 months time 9

10 The challenge (2) Until October 2013 all mayor back office IT services were delivered by Campbell Soup Company out of US, including : Hosting of ERP systems (BPCS and IBM datacenter Hosting of Citrix applications IBM datacenter Delivery of all network services (WAN, LAN, WLAN, Security, etc.) Full helpdesk service for all provided services Mail and collaboration services (Outlook 365) Full project management of all mayor projects 10

11 The challenge constraints (1) TSA (Transitional Services Agreement) which outlined the constraints Continental Foods needs to work with during the carve out : No full system backups were provided, only partial data backups where delivered. This because systems were shared with other countries All licenses needed to be reassessed and re-purchased for all platforms including Windows, AS/400 and AIX environment Very challenging negotiations with Campbell s because of the very big and complex IT environment and complex contracts with IBM Only 1-way domain trust And last but not least. 11

13 The project - scope Services to migrate : Migration of users Migration of 100+ application servers Creation of new WAN architecture Carve out of shared ERP systems (BPCS and SAP) Setup new helpdesk structure for user community Migration addresses And finally cut the line between Campbell s and Continental Foods! 13

16 The project - Approach Decision was made to outsource back office services and to retain core application supporting Continental Foods Setup private cloud to host back office infrastructure and ERP systems Setup WAN to interconnect 6 European sites and central datacenter Search started for a versatile, dynamic and reliable partner 16

17 The project - Approach Mail and collaboration Usage was limited to May 2014 because of legal reasons Migration of Office 365 to Office 365 using MigrationWiz in collaboration with T-Bench Setup of hybrid exchange Cegeka 17

18 The project - Approach ERP carve out 3 BPCS environments on AS/400 4 SAP environments on AIX Hosting of ERP systems in a private cloud environment because of interfaces with local hosted application servers Restore based on unreliable data backups rather then full system backups Minor to no disruption to the production environment Restore was done with tapes flying in from US and restore over a long weekend 18

19 The project - Approach Back office / datacenter setup Creation of new AD domain Clean install and no migration of pollution Centralized back office Cegeka (AD, SCCM, Antivirus, ) with local distribution points to lower WAN usage Global Barracuda backup solution with site to site synchronisation 19

20 The project - Approach Workstation migration Migration of users in 6 different locations Packaging of 100+ applications to support automatic rollout of applications with SCCM Implementation of new computer and user policy to provide an optimal user experience Migration to Office 2013 Sites were migrated during the weekend to minimize business impact 20

21 The project - Approach Migration of 100+ application servers Local file server migration (10 TB+) to servers managed by Cegeka Creation of new print servers on all local sites Migration of critical production servers to new domain Integration of application servers into the new AD domain Installation / configuration of Antivirus clients Setup of new Backup system to replace legacy TSM installation 21

22 The project - Approach Setup of service organization Service organization setup was done throughout all project fazes Fazed go live after site migration Operational scenario s were created to smoothen knowledge transfer Numerous workshops with local IT and Cegeka to create a united new IT organization 22

23 The project - Approach Final cut over On December 14th 2014 the 1-way domain trust between Campbell s and Continental Foods was cut with no mayor issues 23
