2 Executive Leadership Tr aining Progr amme Overview We are not all natural leaders, sometimes we become managers reluctantly usually through promotion from technical roles. Our background may have included a small amount of development of the people aspects of organizing work with the majority of development usually related to technical know-how. This course is intended to give you ideas to tackle common issues faced by managers and leaders. It is intended to get inside your world and to allow you to get inside the minds of other people across the globe facing similar challenges. The course will be intense and use case studies, group work and the application of various tools which will be provided to help in the application of the learning s. Patrick White Holding high-level managerial positions in 13 different countries Responsible for 14,000 staff Owning businesses in five different industries Coaching managers and top executives for the last 12 years Corporate Career In a successful international corporate career, Patrick has worked in a variety of industries across 13 countries. He has been responsible for up to 14,000 employees. Entrepreneurship Patrick is a serial entrepreneur - owning businesses in the hospitality, retail, IT and food and beverage industries. His last business - a fuel and oil distribution company - had an annual turnover of US$1.6bn and employed 600 staff. Business and management coaching For the last 12 years - whilst still running his businesses, Patrick has worked as a high level management consultant in a variety of business sectors. Most recently he has concentrated his efforts working in the Middle East. Coaching style and expertise Patrick is a dynamic trainer, whose highly interactive coaching style engages and helps you gain the right knowledge quickly and effectively. His broad experience in different business sectors allows him to customise the training according to your requirements and experience. Education After qualifying as an accountant, Patrick obtained his MBA in Marketing and Finance. In 2000 he completed his PhD in business strategy and leadership. His postgraduate studies were completed in Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA. Memberships and other activities Dr White is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Directors, and has represented the fuel industry on various governmental committees. He continues to speak at international conferences on a variety of management topics, and is the author of two business books.
