2 Chapel House are a UK based, accredited, professional training and consultancy organisation with programmes, projects and packages available across the globe. We currently offer accreditation from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and in 2015 accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Institute of Supply Chain Management (IoSCM). We work in close alliance with the University of York, delivering coaching, leadership and executive development courses. In addition, we offer a full and comprehensive Training Needs Analysis service, a range of specialist programmes including courses for police and security and for those in education, including management in education and leaders in the classroom. We are also able to offer one-to-one Senior Executive Coaching by our internationally renowned team of highly qualified and experienced leadership coaches. Together we explore the contemporary theory, research and practice of mindfulness and understand how things can improve by implementing some simple but effective techniques. I d read about mindfulness but this workshop brought the subject to life. I now know how to access a more peaceful and productive way.

11 Developing Skills for Sales One of our most popular programmes is developing the skills for sales. The programme content can be designed and delivered to meet organisational needs. It can focus upon front line effectiveness, team based approaches and where required, the strategic perspective. The three-stage workshops build upon each other and will bring together the contemporary models, theory, research and practice from a number of key experts in the field. Invitation to attend these workshops may be extended to the wider organisation, for anyone with management or team leading responsibilities or indeed for others who wish to develop their skills and learn. The workshops are facilitated by one of our experienced team with many years of practical experience. The days will be highly interactive, enjoyable and memorable, in line with our teaching and learning methodology. The programme is designed to be delivered in three workshops/stages. Each workshop develops best practice and theory to a progressively higher level. 13 ILM Coaching and Mentoring Qualifications ILM s market-leading coaching and mentoring qualifications help organisations create a workplace environment where individuals are empowered to take measured risks. Suitable for new and aspiring managers as well as the senior management team. ILM offer a range of coaching qualifications from an award to a full diploma in executive coaching. The programmes have been fully accredited by the ILM. l Level 3 Award and Certificate for Professional Workplace Coaches, l Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring Management, l Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring and l Level 7 Diploma for Professional Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentors are now available.

14 Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring This qualification is designed for people in their first management roles including team leaders and first-line managers. Get the tools and confidence to coach or mentor people as part of your normal working role. Results for you l Learn about coaching and mentoring as powerful development tools l Understand the role and responsibilities of an effective coach and mentor l Explore different coaching and/or mentoring models l Put your skills into practice - carry out supervised coaching and/or mentoring Impact for your employer l Implement coaching and mentoring in your organisation l Ensure the managers you develop as coaches and mentors are properly equipped with the skills, knowledge and ethical understanding they need to be effective l Create a coaching and mentoring culture in your organisation. Two mandatory units give you the underpinning knowledge of good practice in coaching and mentoring. You can then choose between coaching and mentoring specialisms to finish your qualification - either completing two further units on coaching or two on mentoring. 15 Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring This is ideal if you are a manager with significant responsibility for coaching and mentoring as part of your dayto-day role. The second unit, Reviewing own ability as a management coach or mentor aims to give you the ability to critically review your own personal qualities, skills and competence. For the Certificate, the third unit requires you demonstrate your ability to plan, deliver and review at least 20 hours of coaching and mentoring in your workplace. 16 Level 7 Certificate/Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring This qualification is designed for senior managers or HR/OD professionals who want to develop their expertise and credibility in the fields of coaching and mentoring, or to establish coaching on an organisational level. It s also for professional coaches and mentors seeking to enhance and accredit their experience with a nationally recognised qualification. Results for you l Know how to review and build the context, strategy, culture and processes for coaching and mentoring at a senior and strategic level l Understand and analyse different coaching and mentoring models and their impact l Learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of coaching and mentoring in an organisation l Critically review your own communication skills, emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills and values, to assess your competence as a coach or mentor l Plan, deliver and review coaching and mentoring contact with clients at a senior and strategic level Impact for your employer l Implement coaching in complex working environments or at a senior and strategic level in your organisation l Ensure the your organisation s coaches and mentors are properly equipped with the skills, knowledge and ethical understanding they need l Benchmark your organisation s approach against the latest best practise l Measurable impact from coaching and mentoring sessions carried out as part of this qualification There are three mandatory units in this qualification, which you can take as either a Certificate or a Diploma level. The first unit, Understanding the context of coaching and mentoring in a strategic business environment aims to enable you to critically review the role and contribution of coaching and mentoring at a senior level. The second unit, Reviewing own ability as a management coach or mentor will give you the tools and techniques to review and improve your own practise, and understand how the client s organisation culture and structure affects the coaching and mentoring relationship. For the Certificate, the third unit requires you demonstrate your ability to plan, deliver and review at least 20 hours of coaching and mentoring in your workplace. For the Diploma, that is extended to 100 hours of coaching and mentoring, and there is an added focus on assessing your work against best practice standards and benchmarks.

17 Level 7 Certificate/Diploma in Coaching Supervision The Level 7 Certificate and Diploma in Coaching Supervision aim to equip professional coaches with the supervision skills and knowledge needed to practice as confident and competent coaching supervisors. They are ideal for those seeking to develop their expertise in internal or external supervision of strategic, leadership, business or management coaching within an organisation. These qualifications are a gateway to accreditation but are not a licence to practice. Results for you l Coaching supervision can be an essential part of your CPD and helps maintain your own professional competence l Understand the purpose and principles of coaching supervision l Critically assess and reflect on your own ability to perform as an effective coaching supervisor l Develop the skills and theoretical knowledge of coaching supervision methods, approaches, reflective practices and activity l Evaluate the contribution of coaching supervision to stakeholders. Impact for your employer l Coaching supervision is a key process for organisations providing in-house coaching l Develop coaches who are able to use the feedback from supervisory sessions to plan their own and others professional development l Benchmark your organisation s practice against an accepted framework l Ensure your coaches are properly equipped with the skills, knowledge and ethical understanding they need l Meet clients supervision needs through effective assessment and relationship building. Each qualification comprises three mandatory units, including Understanding the Principles and Practice of Coaching Supervision in Organisations and Reflecting on Your Own Ability to Perform Effectively as a Coaching Supervisor. Learners are then required to demonstrate their ability to plan, deliver and review coaching supervision with individual coaches and groups. For the Certificate, this comprises at least 30 hours of coaching supervision. For the Diploma, this is extended to 100 hours of coaching supervision, and there is an added focus on comparing and contrasting individual supervision relationships across different levels of complexity within an organisation. The 100 hours of coaching supervision for the Diploma qualification unit may include 30 hours that have been accredited as part of the Certificate qualification unit. I particularly enjoyed the application of the theories to a real life situation

18 ILM Leadership and Management Qualifications Level 3 Leadership and Management This qualification is ideal if you are have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing your abilities. It s particularly suited to practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people though organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures. Results for you l Gain a range of key management skills l Put new skills into practice in your own role l Build your leadership capabilities l Motivate and engage teams, manage relationships confidently l Develop your leadership skills using your own knowledge, values and motivations. 19 Level 5 Leadership and Management This qualification is designed for project managers, department heads, and other practising middle managers. Develop your skills and experience, improve your performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities. 20 Level 7 Leadership and Management These Level 7 vocational qualifications are designed for senior managers and leaders seeking to develop themselves as leaders and managers, who recognise they must satisfy various stakeholders and who want to invest in their own personal brand. They are looking to make the best use of resources, understand the need to innovate and optimise performance. They may also have to present arguments for change, construct business cases, lead change implementation and evaluate the impact of that change. Results for you l Know how to use an enquiry led evidence based approach to develop your leadership and management capability l Develop and enhance your personal brand l Develop, implement and evaluate high-level, strategic, business cases l Embed your leadership and management development in real work. Impact for your employer l Senior leaders and managers who have the ability to think and act strategically l Senior leaders and managers who make informed evidence based decisions l Motivated staff who can create and maintain a high performance culture l Senior team members who are self-aware and take responsibility for self-development The Certificate in Leadership and Management consists of one, flexible, mandatory unit that allows the learner to identify and work on the areas of leadership and management development specific to their own work context and of particular interest and relevance. The Diploma in Leadership and Management consists of two additional mandatory units. The first focuses on presenting arguments for change, constructing business cases and leading change implementation, the second on the creation and maintenance of high performance cultures. The Diploma is 60 credits is equivalent to a PG Certificate and one third of a Masters in most UK university business schools.

21 ILM Management Consultancy Level 5 Management Consultancy This qualification is designed for practising managers who want to start a career in management consultancy. It will also support working management consultants improve your performance and ensure your experience is formally recognised. Results for you l Tools and techniques to evaluate and assess client problems and opportunities l Effective ways to generate solutions and build a business case l Improve your ability to plan and implement sustainable solutions l Optimise your processes, from agreeing contracts to evaluating performance l Improve the way you work with clients communicate better, build strong and productive relationships l Benchmark your professional, ethical and quality standards You can take this qualification as an Award, or a more comprehensive Certificate. The single mandatory unit in the Award aims to give you a thorough understanding of the consultancy process. There are two more mandatory units in the Certificate, which looks at the role of the consultant in more detail. These units cover areas such as developing professional relationships, understanding legal requirements and working to ethical and professional codes. I found the course very useful both in terms of knowledge gained about coaching, but more importantly, learning of self and the insights gained

22 Level 7 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Management Consultancy The Level 7 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Management Consultancy are designed for experienced management consultants, or new consultants seeking to develop their professional skills and understanding at a high level. They are aimed at individuals seeking to formalise and accredit their experience, and develop and refine their skills and knowledge. Learners will gain the skills they need to benchmark their practice against national standards, and learn cutting edge tools and techniques. Results for you l Improve your ability to manage consultancy interventions and projects l Learn techniques to establish and develop client performance management and measurement l Build and manage strong, productive client relationships l Work with clients to plan, assess and implement sustainable business solutions l Get a nationally recognised qualification to accredit and promote your experience. Learners can take this qualification as an Award, a broader Certificate or a comprehensive and extensive Diploma. The Award comprises one mandatory unit. This covers demonstrating the ability to identify and develop key measures of performance and monitor and evaluate planned activity against these measures. The Certificate includes two additional mandatory units. It focuses on managing and evaluating learners professional relationship with the client, and generating and evaluating the opinion of others through the appraisal process. The Diploma includes six mandatory units and a choice of optional units perfect to close skills gaps and tailor to individual development needs of each learner. It includes units that cover developing effective relationships with clients, providing the knowledge and methodology needed to solve client issues, identifying and managing risk, and working with the client to successfully develop commercial opportunities.
