2 EVENT OVERVIEW Link Vision is conducting our annual Awareness Week from the 5th to the 11th of September This event provides the perfect opportunity for sponsors to increase their brand exposure through association with a well-known Brisbane charity. Throughout the week Link Vision receives significant Brisbane wide exposure, through a targeted radio campaign, social media and events in various locations. The highlights of the week include a Fashion Show in King George Square and a Gala Dinner in the prestigious Ithaca Room in City Hall where a fundraising auction will take place.

3 WHO WE ARE... The fundamental goal of Link Vision is to assist members of our society with low or no vision to lead independent lives. This is achieved through the creation of housing specifically catered for persons who have low or no vision and by increasing members employability through education. Link Vision has provided low cost independent housing for persons with a disability, primarily for residents who have low or no vision, since The organisation is a not-for-profit which currently receives no State or Federal Government funding and therefore we rely solely on charity events and the proceeds from several Op shops. The charity has broadened its services to the provision of education to children who have low or no vision, mainly in computer literacy skills. Link Vision is now in the process of expansion, aiming to replicate our services to other parts of Queensland and expand our reach to a wider area.

4 AUDIENCE EXPOSURE Promotional activities are run prior to and during our Awareness Week, giving both Link Vision and our sponsors maximum exposure. Promotional activities include: A targeted radio campaign on 4BC radio/mix FM including live reads by Alan Jones and Ray Hadley circulation to a broad mailing list Advertisements in our OP shops Social media distribution through our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter 2016 ANNUAL FASHION SHOW RUNWAY SHOW & SALE The Fashion Show takes place in King George Square in the Brisbane CBD, Friday 9 September Because of its premium location this event attracts a lot of attention from passing traffic and the general public. FOR A BETTER LIFE GALA NIGHT 16 LIVE & BLIND AUCTION The Gala Night attracts business executives and young professionals, with corporate discounts available. The major fundraising event is an auction which will take place during the Gala Night, Saturday 10 September 2016.
