3 ABOUT US Who we are Hands of a Hero Foundation is a registered non-profit organization that concentrates on transforming the lives of less fortunate children in Canada. We focus on empowerment, mentorship, educating and preparing children for their future endeavors. In addition, we create and maintain initiatives that allow children to showcase their hidden abilities and talents as well as help them develop skills that will prepare them for their future prospects. The children we work with in Canada are coached to become teen advocates for unprivileged children in Ghana. Hands of a Hero Foundation focuses on eradicating poverty and putting smiles on the faces of deprived children in Ghana. We are devoted in creating programs that provides sustainability, livability and prosperity for under privileged children in Africa. Hands of a Hero Foundation also focuses on, the physical and emotional wellness of children, by addressing the issues in impoverished areas in Ghana. We do this by responding to the emotional needs of vulnerable children, by sharing love, confidence and giving them hope through empowerment and motivation. Mission 1. Hands of a Hero Foundation mission is to support less fortunate children in Canada and Ghana by empowering, mentoring, educating and improving their standard living conditions. 2. Our ultimate aim is to create awareness, raise funds, and implement programs to help eliminate poverty among children. We hope to make a difference in the lives of children by giving them hope for a brighter future.

4 Vision Our vision is to offer social-economical support, social recreation and educational programs to change lives, and help a child realize their full potential. Objectives / Goals Responding and meeting the physical and emotional needs of vulnerable children. Empowering unprivileged children economically so they will become independent and productive members in their communities and society. Cultivating good relationships between less fortunate children and the society at large. Sharing love and confidence with children by giving them hope. Reaching out and educating the public who are unaware of the social and economic issues surrounding children in Canada and Ghana. Empowering and motivating children to recognize their full potential in life. Finding alternative solutions to help bring positive results in the community. Motivating people to reach out to the world and help through volunteering, community outreach and engaging in visiting orphanages, children hospitals, and low income communities. 5 Motto: Poverty like Fashion transcends borders and passes over waters that bridge continents. It encompasses the earth much like the air that we all breathe. Hands of a Hero Foundation recognize that the poverty pandemic is far more than the shoe less children in Africa. Poverty is in our backyards, our neighbourhoods, in our cities. Realizing that the problem is deeper than hemispheres is the first step to creating a solution. Self awareness and Education are key in fighting this pandemic and it is up to us to make sure we help those in need. But just like poverty, Fashion also, transcends borders. It defines a people and creates an awareness of self and culture whilst beckoning others to realize its beauty. Hands of a Hero Foundation Fashion against Poverty Gala is meant to create an atmosphere of enlightenment and beauty as it brings forth the various fabrics, styles and customs of the different continents many of us call home. Mandate Aiming at inviting 100 to 200 people Decorate the hall with paintings from the studio, whilst highlight different cultural fabrics from each continent. Show casing at least ½ designers from each continent grouping Vision: Fashion against Poverty is set to attract not only the chosen up and coming Fashion Designers carefully selected, but also a unique audience blended with entrepreneurs, fashion lovers, students, youth as well as dignified people from the Fashion and Entertainment sector of Toronto. Not only are we aiming at bridging the gap of poverty around the world through this expected audience, but aggressive yet selective media and propaganda exposure will help not only promote all those involved, but will set

6 the tone for better things to develop the following year as a result of what has been accomplished now. WHY BECOME A SPONSOR? As a Fashion against Poverty sponsor you help create an atmosphere capable of giving exposure to designers and fashion lovers, while simultaneously helping raise funds to help an impoverished country and bring a smile to the faces of otherwise hopeless children.
