Predictor Integration with Panning and Essbase With Crysta Ba EPM reease , you can now use the powerfu time-series forecasting capabiities of Predictor on historica data from Orace Hyperion Panning, Fusion Edition and Orace Essbase. Predictor works within Crysta Ba EPM and Orace Hyperion Smart View for Office, Fusion Edition to create forecasts and paste them directy into a Panning form or ad hoc queries in Panning or Essbase. Forecasts are then submitted back to the Panning or Essbase server to hep create more accurate budgets and roing forecasts. Define Assumptions from Forecasts You can now define an assumption using the data from a forecast. Crysta Ba automaticay fits an assumption to the forecast data and seects the best fit, or you can create a custom distribution assumption using the raw data. This feature enabes you to quicky use forecasts from Crysta Ba simuations as inputs to a mode. Updated Scenario Anaysis Too The Scenario Anaysis too has been updated with a new wizard interface simiar to the ones used for other Crysta Ba toos. Scenario Anaysis is a powerfu anaysis too that runs a simuation and then sorts and matches a the resuting vaues of a target forecast with their corresponding assumption vaues. This too enabes you to investigate which combination of assumption vaues gives a particuar resut. 2 New Features

3 Locaized for Spanish and Japanese The user interface for Crysta Ba reease has been ocaized into Spanish and Japanese. An instaer menu enabes you choose the anguage to use for the instaation as we as the Crysta Ba user interface. Addresses U.S. Section 508 Accessibiity Crysta Ba reease has been designed to address the U.S. Federa government's accessibiity standards for Section 508 enabing individuas who rey on assistive technoogies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers to more effectivey use the software. Keyboard equivaents for menu commands and diaog contros are avaiabe at a times. An additiona Accessibiity mode activates other features described in Appendix B of the Orace Crysta Ba User's Guide. The accessibiity status of Crysta Ba has been documented using the Vountary Product Accessibiity Tempate (VPAT). The VPAT can be used by U.S Federa contracting and procurement officias to evauate a product with respect to the provisions contained in Section 508. Designed for U.S. FDCC Mandate Crysta Ba reease has been designed to meet the U.S. Federa Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) mandate. FDCC specifies mandatory configuration requirements for the Microsoft Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista operating systems when used on U.S. Government desktop systems. Support for New Windows Version Crysta Ba is now supported on Microsoft Windows 7. New Predictor Interface and Deveoper Kit Predictor, the time-series forecasting feature of Crysta Ba, was competey rewritten for reease New features: A new Wizard interface for setting up forecasts, previewing forecasts, and viewing resuts Abiity to create reports and extract data Abiity to fi-in missing vaues before charting historica data Abiity to adjust outiers before pasting vaues into worksheets or extracting resuts Updated formuas and agorithms, incuding autocorreations Deveoper Kit (API) for programming time-series forecasts. Because Predictor has a different code base, this Deveoper Kit is no onger compatibe with previous reeases of CB Predictor; code written with the earier CB Predictor Deveoper Kit is not compatibe with Predictor reease or ater. Other Enhancements Beginning with Crysta Ba version , right-cick context menus are now avaiabe for Crysta Ba within Microsoft Exce. In Microsoft Exce 2007 and ater, the Crysta Ba ribbon no onger needs to be active to use Crysta Ba. As ong as Crysta Ba is oaded, users can access Crysta Ba functionaity with the right-cick context menu in the spreadsheet. Crysta Ba EPM Enterprise Performance Management Simuator enabes direct Crysta Ba simuation of queries and forms within Smart View reease New Features in Crysta Ba and Starting with Crysta Ba reease , a new version numbering scheme was impemented with additiona digit groups to aign with Orace versioning standards. Parameter Locking for Certain Distributions You can now ock the vaues of certain parameters of seected distributions whie fitting data to those distributions. 6 Trias for binomia Trias for hypergeometric New Discrete Distribution Fitting Distribution fitting now incudes discrete as we as continuous distributions and certain parameters can be ocked for increased accuracy. You can fit a discrete distributions supported by Crysta Ba, except the Yes-No distribution, to integer data sets. For discrete fitting, you can view the Chi-square statistic and Chi-square p-vaues. Anderson-Daring and Komogorov- Smirnov statistics are not currenty avaiabe for discrete fitting. P-Vaue Cacuations When fitting to continuous distributions, p-vaue cacuations for Anderson-Daring and Komogorov-Smirnov have been added for the foowing distributions: Norma Exponentia Minimum Extreme Maximum Extreme Logistic Uniform Gamma Weibu Lognorma A New Wizard Format for Crysta Ba Toos The foowing Crysta Ba Toos have been rewritten with a wizard format for increased ease of use: Batch Fit Bootstrap Decision Tabe 2D Simuation New Data Anaysis Too A new too, Data Anaysis, imports data directy into Crysta Ba forecasts, one for each data series. Then, you can anayze the data using any of Crysta Ba s charting, reporting, and data extraction features. 6 New Features

7 Crysta Ba Licensing Enhancements You can now use Orace Crysta Ba, Fusion Edition in evauation mode for a imited time, usuay 15 days, without needing to activate a icense. License activation no onger requires an Internet connection with an onine icensing server. These enhancements were designed to streamine the instaation and icensing procedure. Universa Avaiabiity of Predictor and the Crysta Ba Deveoper Kit Predictor and the Crysta Ba Deveoper Kit are now avaiabe to a Crysta Ba users. They are no onger optiona products avaiabe ony in a certain package. Smart View and Strategic Finance Integration If you have Crysta Ba EPM version or with appropriate icensing, you can use Smart View to work with Crysta Ba fies in a number of ways. You can use the Smart View Connection Manager to store Crysta Ba EPM modes within a centra repository. Then, you can oad them into Smart View, access data from certain other appications aso within the repository, and using ce references popuate the Crysta Ba EPM modes with current EPM data for further anaysis. Two of the appications that can aso be accessed from within the Orace Hyperion Smart View for Office, Fusion Edition spreadsheet interface are Orace Essbase and Orace Hyperion Panning, Fusion Edition. If you have Crysta Ba EPM version with appropriate icensing, you can aso create Orace Crysta Ba Enterprise Performance Management, Fusion Edition worksheets from data in Orace Hyperion Strategic Finance, Fusion Edition.
