1 Business Delegation to Australia The Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 11 th Business Mission to Australia from October 13-20, The Mission will visit Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, where in association with our fellow Chambers of Commerce, Australia-India Business Council (AIBC) and a number of leading Australian companies, a range of networking sessions, seminars and one-to-one meetings are being arranged. We expect to interact with about 150 Australian companies in the three cities. This will be a multi-industry delegation covering a wide range of sectors. Engineering, auto components, food and agri-products, textiles & garments, leather, coir, construction materials & equipments, jewellery, and aviation are some of the areas, where Indian companies can seek profitable business in Australia. Escalating costs and growing skill shortage are forcing several Australian companies to outsource a variety of products and services from India and other countries. Indian IT & BPO companies have done exceptionally well in Australia and there is scope for another tier II companies to establish business prospects in the country. Accounting and financial services are emerging as a major vertical for outsourcing operations. There is an expanding market for Indian banking and other non-banking financial services in Australia. Four of India s leading banks have successful operations in Australia. There are 4,00,000 Indians in Australia and they provide a huge market for Indian real estate and property developers. We welcome representatives of leading Universities and Centres of Learning for interaction with Australian universities for joint ventures and collaboration opportunities. There are opportunities for business and management consultants to connect to a growing number of Australian companies seeking to establish business in India. As India emerges to be a major source for skilled migration to Australia, we also welcome Migration Agents and Placement Consultants to take advantage of these opportunities. The Chamber Missions are widely seen as the major platform for Indian SMEs to interact and establish long term business links with Australian companies. The Chamber has a large database of Australian companies and many of them will be interacting with members of the Mission in Australia. Profiles of Delegates will be printed in a booklet and sent to Australia well in advance for fixing one-to-one appointments. In view of the tight flight schedule, we would like to limit the participation to 15 delegates. Those, who wish to participate in the Delegation, should send their confirmation by August 7, Please note visa processing might take about 3 weeks and, therefore, early registration will avoid last minute rush. 2 IACC Business Delegation to Australia Terms and Conditions Cost: Per Delegate: Rs. 2,50,000/- Special Package for Members: Rs. 2,40,000/- This amount may be partly payable in foreign exchange The cost covers: Chennai-Singapore-Perth-Melbourne-Sydney-Singapore-Chennai Economy Class Tax on the air fare Departure taxes in India and Australia Accommodation on single occupancy in premium hotels for 6 nights/7 days plus Breakfast (laundry, phones, room service and expenses of personal nature not included) Airport transfers in Australia Conveyance for IACC organized events Fee for participation in official functions Charges for the organizational expenses for the entire programme Sight-seeing trips in all the three cities Visa charges not included. The Chamber will, however, assist in visa clearance. The Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce or its executives or affiliates cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss of property or death in the course of the tour in India or abroad.
