2 PARTICIPATION The World Cup Asparoukh s sword is open to all fencing federations possessing a current FIE licenses for the 2014/2015 season. PROGRAMME Saturday 25/10/2014 Individual Event 10:00 Fencers Call 10:30 Round of poules 13:00 Direct elimination 17:00 Finals Sunday 26/10/ :00 Team Event VENUE International Fair, Plovdiv EQUIPMENT CONTROL In the fencing hall during the whole competition ENTRY FEE The entry fees are fixed at 25 Euro per fencer for the individual event and 100 Euro for the team event to be paid to the organizers at the moment of registration (FIE Regulations). ENROLMENT The entry of the names of the fencers and all possible replacements, and the entry of teams, must be made via the FIE website 7 days before the competition at the latest (midnight Lausanne time).

3 For team entries, the names of the fencers making up the teams may be changed, by informing the organisers, up to the day before the competition, at the latest at the end of the quarter finals of the individual competition. However, a replacement can be made after this stage, and at the latest at the end of the individual event, in the case of injury or illness duly certified by the competition medical doctor. REFEREES: In accordance to the FIE Rules the number of FIE A or B Grade referees that must accompany teams to competitions is: 1 4 fencers No obligation to provide a referee 5 9 fencers One referee 10 or more fencers Two referees For junior A Grade competitions, the name (s) of the referee(s) (who must have an FIE category in the weapon of the competition for which they are entered) must be notified via the FIE website 7 days before the competition (midnight, Lausanne time). ANTI-DOPING CONTROL Doping Control will be done at the end of the individual event under the responsibility of the competition official physician in accordance with the FIE rules. Doping control will not be conducted at the Junior Team competition. TRANSPORT The Organising Committee will provide the transportation from Sofia airport to Plovdiv and back at the price of 45 euro/person.

4 ENTRY VISA In order to obtain a visa, participants are requested to send to bulfencing@gmail.com the visa form. The Organising Committee will take care of the necessary formalities before 25 September ACCOMMODATION The Organising Committee selected the following Official Hotel: MARITZA hotel (****) situated at 50 m from the venue special sponsor of the 1 st edition of the tournament.
