You will find attached all the relevant details of the General Information. LODGING: All participants in World Cup, Cairo 2010 must arrange their accommodation in one of the official hotels. Bookings for these hotels must be made only through The Egyptian Judo Federation. Hotel reservations are made on a first come first serve basis. Hotel reservations must be made before 1 st May Cancellation or alterations of reservation can be made free of charge before this date. After this date any cancellations of rooms or no-show will result in 100% of the charge of the hotel costs. Full payment must be received before 1 st May If payment is made after this date a surcharge of 10% will be levied upon the total payable amount. Possible reservations of extra rooms at the check-in will also be surcharged with 10%. NO exceptions will be made. HOTEL INFOMATION Rates are full board and include all meals (breakfast, lunch and diner) and transportation during the World Cup and Training Camp. All accommodation reservation should be arranged only through the Egyptian Judo, Aikido and Sumo Federation Persons not staying in official hotels will be charged a registration fee of per person. 5 Category B1 (4*) Category B2 (4*) LIABILITY: Neither the organizers of the event, nor the EGYPTIAN JUDO, AIKIDO AND SUMO FEDERATION (nor any of its officials or members) will be liable or responsible for any personal injury or for any loss or damage to your property arising out of your participation and travelling connection with this event. The EGYPTIAN JUDO, AIKIDO, AND SUMO FEDERATION declines any and all responsibilities. 7. VISA: The EGYPTIAN JUDO, AIKIDO AND SUMO FEDERATION is happy to help any country with obtaining visa for athletes and officials. There are a number of guidelines we have to take into account: - Please notify the EGYPTIAN JUDO, AIKIDO AND SUMO FEDERATION one month in advance of any invitation letters that need to be sent. - Please specify all information that is needed in the invitation letters (name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, date of issue). - Please send the list of names and all the other information via to: jfederation@yahoo.com - It is possible to send invitations letters via express mail. The expenses will be charged to the account of the federations and must be paid in full prior to or at the check-in. 8. LAND TRANSPORT The Organizing Committee will provide free of charge transportation for competing delegations: - Transfer to and from airport. - Bus service to and from competition venue - Hotel - Bus service to and from training Venue - Hotel - Bus service to and from draw Hotel 9. REGISTRATION: Registration must be made for all delegates wishing to be accredited. Registrations forms attached to the document 10. RULES: Competitions will be conducted in accordance with the IJF Rules and under the conditions of the IJF World Cup. Ko system with quarterfinal (last 8) repechage. 6 11. PARTICIPANTS: Maximum two (4) competitors per country in each Category. Maximum four (4) competitors for the organizing country in each Category. 12. WEIGH-IN: Each day of the competition, the official weigh-in will be organized at the Official Hotels Unofficial weigh-in starts from 6h00 to 7h00. The official weigh-in starts from 7h00 to 8h TRAINING FACILITIES: Planning scheduling of the training sessions will be organized taking into consideration the request made by National Federation everyday on the basis first request done first served. 14. JUDO GI In accordance with IJF Regulations Blue and white Judogi in conformity with IJF rules will be required. Back Numbers: Each competitor taking part in IJF events is obliged to have on the back of his judogi the official back number made up of two parts: the FIXED upper part, consisting of the Surname and the National Olympic Abbreviation; the CHANGEABLE bottom part consisting of the event name and the sponsors, unique for each event. The participating athlete / federation is responsible for ordering and sewing of the FIXED part of the back number, which must be the official EJU / IJF one. It should be ordered from Production and delivery takes around 4 weeks. The IJF will inform the organizer if the CHANGEABLE part is needed for that particular event. In this case, the organizer will deliver the CHANGEABLE part during registration, and the athletes can stick it themselves using the special glue on the back number 15. REFEREES; Each National Federation is obliged to nominate at least one IJF Referee A or B. The number of referees that can be nominated are as follows: Organising Federation: 6 Referees Participating Federations: 2 Referees Non-Participating Federations: 2 Referees 16. ANTIDOPING CONTROL; The Anti-Doping Control will take place after the awarding ceremony and will be carried out in JUDO WORLD CUP, CAIRO EGYPT

7 accordance with the IJF Anti-Doping Rules. 17.
