These provide effective mechaical draiage solutios for all below groud structures where a cavity drai system is beig istalled ad is desiged to be fully maitaiable i accordace to BS 8102, the Code of Practice for protectio of below groud structures agaist water from the groud. 3 PRE-TREATMENT Ati-Lime Coatig As part of the preparatio process before applyig Visquee s Cavity Drai Membraes, the ati-lime coatig is desiged to seal cocrete surfaces ad to reduce the leachig of free lime. It will also icrease resistace to abrasio ad acid cocetrates. Supplied ready to use i 25kg drums. MEMBRANE FIXINGS & SEALS V20 Sealig Rope Visquee V20 Sealig Rope is a high performace double-sided butyl rubber tape with excellet adhesio ad flexibility properties. The sealig rope is primarily used to bod Visquee V20 Floor Membraes to esure a watertight seal. It is used aroud service pipes ad is also applied aroud the rim of Visquee Masory Plugs formig a sealig gasket betwee the plug ad membrae. INSTALLATION Idividual sheets of Visquee V20 are joied together with Visquee Sealig Rope. The sealig rope is positioed betwee the two stud formatios alog the edge of the membrae to be overlapped ad remove the release paper. Lift the ext sheet of V20 membrae over the two iterlockig studs ad press the overlappig membrae dow oto the sealig rope. V8 Double Sided Sealig Tape Visquee V8 Double Sided Sealig Tape is double sided butyl rubber tape with excellet adhesio properties ad flexibility properties. The sealig tape bods together Visquee V8 Wall membrae to esure a watertight seal. INSTALLATION Flaged edges of the Visquee V8 Wall Membrae should always be positioed i frot of, ad overlappig, the previously istalled V8 membrae width. Laps with flaged edges are boded usig Visquee V8 Double Sided Joitig Tape, ad laps without flages are iterlocked with the outer edge covered with Visquee CD Corer Strip. equiries@visqueebuildig.co.uk

4 MEMBRANES FIXINGS & SEALS CD (Cavity Drai) Corer Strip Visquee CD Corer Strip is a sigle sided butyl rubber self adhesive tape. The tape is primarily used to seal the 90 degree Floor/Wall juctio ad sealig aroud service etry seals such as pipes, ductigs or steel stachios. INSTALLATION Whe likig the V8 wall membrae to the V20 floor membrae, this ca be achieved usig Visquee Corer Strip. The vertical ad horizotal membraes should be butt joited at the base of the wall. Visquee Corer Strip is folded i half alog the legth of the piece to be used to create the 90 degree agle. Oce correctly aliged, carefully pull off the backig paper ad press firmly out with the palm of the had oto the floor ad wall membraes. Masory Plugs Visquee Masory Plugs are made from Polyoxymethylee ad are 10mm diameter ad 75mm i legth. The plug is used i cojuctio with Visquee Sealig Rope aroud the rim of the plug to effectively form a sealig gasket betwee the plug ad vertically fixed membrae. It is iteded for use ito soft brick or stoe. INSTALLATION Fixigs are made through the Visquee V8 Wall Membrae ito 10mm holes drilled through the studs to a miimum depth of 75mm (use puch). Visquee Masory Plugs, to which Visquee Sealig Rope has bee applied aroud the rim, are iserted ito the holes ad tapped flush with the membrae. The fixigs are ormally required at 1m cetres, ad should be staggered. Fixigs are also required immediately either side of the laps. They are istalled i cojuctio with cavity drai waterproofig systems i ew build ad reovatio projects. The systems are desiged to be fully maitaiable, as is a requiremet of Type C drai protectio i accordace with BS 8102 (2009) - the Code of Practice for protectio of below groud structures agaist water from the groud. Water Pump Pro (sigle mais powered pump) icludig 9v Battery Alarm Quick ad easy to istall Maximum head 7m Pump capacity 132 litres/miute Primarily developed for the ew build specificatio market, the Water Pump Pro rage is desiged to remove groud water from basemet cavity drai systems. The Water Pump Pro kit comprises a polyethylee sump which features flages to key ito the placed cocrete, a galvaized, lockig access cover ad oe mais powered, submersible sump ad a 9v battery alarm. The system is highly versatile ad eables istallers to locate ilets to suit o-site requiremets. Water Pump Pro Plus (two mais powered pumps) icludig 9v Battery Alarm This kit is idetical to the Water Pump Pro above but is supplied with two mais powered pumps. These ca be plumbed to either a sigle discharge outlet or to two separate outlets from the sump. The secod mais powered pump is located o the raised foot withi the chamber ad provides back up to the primary pump ad additioal capacity to the system if required. Water Pump Pro Plus Battery Back-up System The Water Pump Pro Plus Battery Back up system comprises a polyethylee sump, lockig access cover, powerful submersible pump ad a 24v back up pump ad cotrol pael. The system is versatile, ad quick ad easy to istall, eablig ilets to be located to meet the specificatio ad the eeds of the istallers. The system is desiged for use where primary pump failure, through mechaical fault or loss of mais power, would be catastrophic. The cotrol pael (sold separately) alerts the ed user if the water rises above the ormal operatig level withi the sump, ad activates the back-up pump via three separate float switches. The cotrol pael cotais two trickle charged batteries. The system has a pump capacity of 168 litres per miute, up to a head of 6.5 metres. equiries@visqueebuildig.co.uk

6 CONTROL PANELS AND ALARMS High level water alarms ad cotrol paels, to suit site specific applicatios, are available for use with our sump ad pumps. Dual Assist Cotrol Pael icludig floats Where two mais powered pumps are located withi oe sump, the Dual Assist Cotrol Pael will alterate their operatio ad also activate both pumps simultaeously whe required. Supplied complete with itegral high level water alarm ad moitorig couters for each pump which record the umber of activatios ad ru times. This uit is desiged for high risk areas of potetial water igress. Dual Assist Cotrol Pael Telemetric Dialler Alarms Our telemetric systems are suitable for where the possibility of pump failure through either a pump fault or loss of mais power would be catastrophic. It is desiged to alert the ed user should a high level coditio or loss of power occur. It otifies the ed user by sedig a pre-recorded message alertig them of the system fault. The system is available withi the majority of our products, it is also available as a add o module that ca be retro-fitted to existig products. The service period, usually every 6 12 moths, should be agreed at the outset with the istallig cotractor or a specialist pump servicig compay. Visquee ca provide details of such compaies o request.

7 WATER CHANNEL ACCESSORIES Cavity Drai systems must be maitaiable, ad Water Chael is used to facilitate this. Water Chael Outlet Cosists of a 90 PVC bed ad a PVC male couplig which is fitted to the base of the Water Chael to allow water to be take from the coduit to the draiage poit. Water Chael 2m legths Desiged to be used i cojuctio with a cavity drai system, Visquee Water Chael is a PVC draiage coduit which should be fitted aroud the periphery of a iteral floor at the vulerable wall/floor juctio. Ay water eterig the buildig through walls or curved soffits is cotrolled behid the membrae ad eters the chael through the pre-drilled 19mm holes before beig diverted to the mechaical (sump ad pump) or atural draiage poit. Stadard Water Chael is supplied with a up-stad that is placed agaist the wall, however it ca be supplied without the up-stad if required. Water Chael Ed Outlet Where gravity fed draiage is to be used, the Uiversal Chael Ed Outlet has bee desiged to covert the petagoal shape of the coduit ito a roud aperture. This eables water to be discharged from the coduit ito a P trapped gulley or to a soakaway. Water Chael Corer Piece with Roddig Eye To be used to joi legths of Water Chael coduit at corers. The Corer Piece icludes a optio for iclusio of a Roddig Eye. Water Roddig Eye i 200mm log chael The Water Roddig Eye i 200mm log chael are used to gai access to the system, for ispectio ad maiteace (cleaig of draiage chael) whe required. It is therefore recommeded that oe of these uits is istalled at approximately every 10 liear metres alog straight legths of Water Chael. The Roddig Eye comes complete withi a 200mm log water chael. Water Chael Coector A coector to lik two legths of Water Chael coduit.
