11 Magnetic dipole moment 11 A magnetic dipole compises a small cuent caying loop. The point chage (chage monopole) is the simplest souce of electostatic field. The magnetic dipole is the simplest souce of magnetostatic field. The magnetic dipole is analogous to the electic dipole.
