2 The Facts What/where/when The American Cancer Society s Celebration of Life gala, Hope Grows in Orange County, will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Fairmont Newport Beach. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP reception followed by high end silent and live auction items, delicious conscious cuisine, and lively entertainment. Who is attending More than 350 guests are expected to attend including: corporate sponsors, business and philanthropic leaders, underwriters, and distinguished guests. Last year s event introduced the inaugural Celebration of Life Board of Ambassadors comprised of community and business leaders, the mission of the board is to promote and support the success of the American Cancer Society Celebration of Life gala. Each year at the event the Celebration of Life Honoree Award is presented to one individual within the corporate sector and one within the medical field, the selected honorees are visionaries who have a close connection with cancer, and are dedicated to giving back to the community. Public recognition The American Cancer Society brand awareness is 97% nationwide. No other health organization has a higher rating. Our brand helps to clearly identify our organization, set it apart from other organizations, and ultimately create relationships with our communities.
