Macedonia B u l l e t i n 1 ORGANIZERS: Federation Aeronautique Internationale Aeronautical Federation of Macedonia Association of Air Sports Phil Phoenix Prilep DATE: From 1 st to 7 th August, 2016 CONTEST SITE: Airfield Malo Konjari, is located 9 km west of Prilep on the road Prilep - Krushevo. The flying field is 607 m. above sea level and GPS Coordinates: N ' 57''; E ' 23''. On the airfield Prilep we organize national competitions every year, as well as the World Cup competitions in free flight classes, Prilep Cup Trophy of Prilep and Macedonia Cup. The overall area is grass covered, without any obstacles. The contest site will benefit of specially erected tents, electric power generator, radio amplifier, restaurant under tent, mineral and domestic water, toilets, etc. ALTERNATE LOCATION: The flying field near the village Dolneni, is 20 km NW far from Prilep. VENUE: City of Prilep is lying in the heart of Balkan Peninsula and in South West part of Republic of Macedonia, 55 km from Macedonian Greece border. Prilep easily can be reached by road or train. We have air communication via two international airports in Skopje and Ohrid, and two airports in the nearest countries, Thessaloniki (Greece) and Sofia (Bulgaria). Cheap flights: The distance between Prilep and the capital City of Skopje is 125 km, and the distance to the airport in Skopje is 110 km; The distance between Prilep and Ohrid is 110 km. and to the Ohrid airport is 125 km; The distance between Prilep and Thessalonica - Greece (airport and port) is around 210 km. The distance between Prilep and Sofia Bulgaria is around 300 km. WEATHER: The prevailing character of weather in July and August is dry continental. Average daily temperature in Prilep is 25 0 C and moderate wind of 2-4 m/s, which is very suitable for model flying.

WORLD CUP EVENT: The Prilep Cup - Trophy of Prilep will be organized one the July 30-31, 2016, in the weekend before the start of the World Championships. Info on the TOUR: During the free time, competitors can be visited lot of interesting ancient and modern places, towns, museums and natural rarities from our country. The organizer will assist in the choice of location and organization to visit the touristic area.

3 PARTICIPATION Every Active or Associated Member / National Air Sport Control (NAC) of the FAI (as defined in FAI S/C Gen Sec ) is invited to enter a National Team that may consist of: - Team manager - Team manager s Assistant - Maximum 3 (three) junior competitors per class reigning World Champion in each F1A, F1B, F1P class, if still junior - One Time Keeper - Helpers, supporters, press representatives CLASSIFICATIONS AND AWARDS 2016 FAI World Championship for Free Flight Model Aircraft, F1A,F1B F1P Classification Individual classification Team classification Awards 2016 FAI World Championship for Free Flight Model Aircraft, F1A,F1B F1P Class FAI medals Gold, Silver, Bronze and Diplomas for top three FAI medals Gold, Silver, Bronze and Diplomas for top three teams The first 3 individuals and teams (including Team Managers) in each class shall be awarded with the FAI medals and diplomas and also with the cups of the Organizer. Accommodation and board will be no more than 45 EUR/day. You can also enjoy in fine Macedonian wine and beer from Prilep beer factory. PROTESTS All protests must be presented in writing to the Sports Director at the competition site, and must be accompanied by a deposit of the fee. The fee is 50 according to FAI Sporting Code Section 4 Aero modeling, Volume ABR 2016 Edition. The deposit is returned if the protest is upheld only. MODELS PROCESSING FAI Specification Certificate Each competitor must present a valid FAI SPECIFICATION CERTIFICATE for his model/s/ from his NAC, according to FAI Sporting Code Section 4 Aero modeling, Volume ABR 2016 Edition. Note: Model aircraft not properly processed by NAC, must be processed by the organizer at a cost of 8 for each model. National flags and anthem The Team Manager is requested to bring one national flag of 1 x 1.5 m. and a CD or USB with national anthem. The flag and anthem will be collected during the team s registration and returned after the closing ceremony. REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS During registration the Team Managers must present: - Competitors, Team Manager, FAI Licenses valid for 2015 registered in the FAI Data Base; - Final Entry Form signed and stamped by the National Air Sports Control; - A copy of the teams banking payment of the Entry Fee receipt; - One national flag 1.0 m x 1.5 m; - One CD or USB stick with national anthem MP3 format; - Valid FAI certificates for the models - Valid ID card Note: For FAI Licenses, the competitors who do not carry photographs or the date of birth then valid photographic the ID is required.

5 JUNIOR AGE: According to the Sporting Code paragraph B.3.4., junior competitor and helper for juniors must not be older than 18 in PRESS ACCESS The access on the flying site of press representatives, photographers, etc., will be free of charge and allowed only in the special designated area of the contest. INSURANCE The Organizer will provide third party insurance covered to all participants for accidents involving injury to others or damage to property according to the host country s legislation. Participants should provide their own health insurance to cover accidents and illness. The Organizers are not responsible for any kind of injury, loss, theft or damage to people or property. POWER SUPPLY Electricity in R.
