2 Dear friends, We are happy to welcome all participating federations at the PRAGUE OPEN AEROBIC 2013 International Competition in Aerobic Gymnastics, Dance and Step Aerobic (FIG Event ID 6339) which will be held since 4 th to 6 th of October 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic and provide you with all information concerning the participation at the above mentioned events. 1. 3 6. JUDGES AND JURIES The Jury will consist of: 1 Chair of Judges Panel, 2 Difficulty Judges, 4 Artistic Judges, 4 Execution Judges, 1 Line Judge and 1 Time Judge. The Juries are set up by the draw directed by the Director of competition from the judges present at the event. Priority will be given to the judges with the highest category. A Federation may not have a judge on both the execution and artistic panels. The Chair of Judges Panel and the difficulty judges should also be from different Federations. Only in exceptional situations there will be made the decision to deviate from this. Each participating Federation must provide a minimum one judge ( category 1, 2, 3 or 4) with a valid FIG Brevet for the current cycle ( ). 7. COMPETITION FORMAT The Prague Open Aerobic Competition consists of Qualifications and Finals in all categories. Participation in the Qualifications: Participation isn t limited in each category (IW, IM, MP, TR, GR, DA, ST). In case of a tie in points at any place in Qualification, the ranking will be determined by the following criteria: 1. the highest total E-score 2. the highest total A-score 3. the highest total D-score If there is still a tie, the tie will not be broken. Participation in the Finals: The top eight gymnasts per category from the Qualifications in each Age Group (ND, AG1, AG2, SEN) and category (IW, IM, MP, TR, GR, DA, ST) will take part in the Finals. Maximum of two ones per category and nation. Due to the fact, that the competition is also the Czech Championship, minimum 3 Czech athletes have to start in the Finals. In case of a tie in points at any place in Finals, the tie-breaking rules will be applied. 8. DRAWING OF LOTS The drawing of lots took place at the CGF Headquarters on 17 th September 2013 in Prague. The draw is attached. 9. AWARDS The first three gymnasts in the Age Group (ND, AG1, AG2, SEN) and the category (IW, IM, MP, TR, GR, DA, ST) will receive medals and diploma.

5 11. MEDICAL The Host Federation, the Local Organizing Committee and the FIG will not be held responsible for any liabilities in case of accidents, illness, repatriation and the like. The FIG Technical Regulations (Section 1, article 12.10) foresee that all participating Federations are responsible for making their own arrangements to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all the members of their Delegation. The LOC will verify the insurance upon arrival of the delegation members (e.g. cover note or photocopy of the valid policy) Medical Services During the official Trainings and Competition, the LOC will provide medical persons in the competition and training areas. 12. DOPING CONTROLS The LOC will arrange an anti-doping commission under the supervision of the Czech Antidoping Agency. The anti-doping controls may take place at any time. 13. INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION The delegations have to cover by themselves the costs for their international transportation. The LOC provides transportation from Prague airport (or Railway station and Bus station)to the venue and official hotels and back (costs 30.- EUR per person). 14. 6 15. ACCREDITATION The Accreditation desk will be open on Friday 4 th of October 2013 at 17:00 hrs and is situated on st the 1 floor of the Sports Hall VSE. During the Accreditation the Head of Delegation has to be ready to present the following: - National Flag (approx. 90cm x 135cm) - Passports of each member of the delegation - Insurances for each member of the delegation - One CD for each routine with the Country, Category and Names of the competitors - List of difficulty elements for each routine please find attached a blank copy of it - Those delegations that are due to do some payments to the Organizing Committee have to be ready to fulfill them 16. ORIENTATION MEETING The Orientation meeting for the Heads of delegation (or representative of the delegations) will be held on Friday 4 th October 2013 at the Meeting Room (Sports Hall VSE) from 19:00 hrs. The Organizing Committee will provide detailed information regarding the competition. We kindly ask all delegations to send a representative to this meeting! 17. TOURIST INFORMATION Currency The currency in the Czech Republic is the Czech Crown (CZK). The rate: 1,- EUR = CZK Weather in Prague in October Average minimum: 13 C Average maximum 20 C GMT During the event, Prague will be on Summer Time (GMT +1 Hr) If you need some more information in advance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
