2 ST JOHN E-LEARNING Our aim is to create a variety of convenient ways to deliver essential First Aid training in order to achieve our aim of having at least one person, educated, equipped and prepared to provide First Aid in every home, workplace and gathering. St John e-learning is convenient, self-paced learning that trains your employees in First Aid skills awareness, and prepares everyone to have the ability to respond in basic First Aid situations. e-learning courses are designed to be easy to use, are ideal for any organisation and can be incorporated into your workplace employee inductions and Learning Management Systems (LMS). About St John At St John, we re about saving lives through First Aid. We aim for at least one person educated, equipped and prepared to provide First Aid in every home, workplace and public gathering. St John Ambulance Australia (Vic) Inc. is a charity that has been providing services to Victorians for over 130 years. Our mission is to increase the level of life-saving First Aid skills throughout the community and save lives throughout the State. Through the support of individuals, organisations, trusts and foundations, we ve been able to give back to the community through our First Aid in Schools program. 6 AVAILABLE COURSES Introduction to First Aid The Introduction to First Aid online course provides participants with First Aid knowledge to manage common injuries in the workplace that may affect staff, visitors, customers or community groups. Includes 7 modules on common First Aid incidences. Everyday First Aid The following course allows employees to gain basic knowledge and skills in Everyday First Aid training. Learn the importance of what First Aid is and the essential Action Plans that should be implemented in case of an emergency situation. Includes 6 modules on common First Aid incidences First Aid Management of Sharps and Spills This course ensures your employees are equipped to manage a high risk situation involving spills or sharps and what the correct procedures are in infection control practices. 7 20 Workplace Infection Control This course will provide participants with basic understanding about the importance of good hygiene practices. This assists in the reduction of the spread of infection in the workplace. Easily completed within 20 minutes. Defibrillation Awareness This course will provide participants with an understanding of how to use a defibrillator in an emergency situation when required. It is a basic level awareness course, appropriate for anyone who has access to a defibrillator.
