Instructor Bio Jason Chen is a Philadelphia based photographer/filmmaker/animator. He has done work for local photographer Trevor Dixon on projects for Philadelphia Magazine, Anthropologie, Dansko Shoes, and Lilly Pulitzer. Jason is also a co-owner of Paradigm Gallery + Studio, a local gallery that showcases emerging Philadelphia artists, and a co-owner of Juggling Wolf, a local film and animation production company. Course Description: This Advanced Photoshop course will focus on a better understanding of Photoshop workflow, along with various techniques in pixel manipulation, retouching, and image compositing. Pre-requisites: (if applicable) Adobe Photoshop or equivalent experience Course Overview In this class you will learn how to use Camera Raw functions to optimize your workflow, and understand file formats. You will learn various techniques to restore old photographs, as well as retouching an image straight out of the camera. You will also learn how to composite multiple images into one. Course Objectives/Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, students will: - have a better understanding Photoshop workflow. - understand different file formats, and their functionalities. - learn various techniques of pixel manipulations, retouching skills, and how to do image compositing.
