3 1. GENERAL INFORMATION We would like to thank all our exhibitors for their participation at IFAT Eurasia 2015, Trade Fair for Enviromental Technologies. This manual contains the necessary information to assist in all preparatory stages of your participation. Please make sure that you note all particular details about the deadlines. This will avoid possible inconveniences. We hereby request all exhibitors to pay maximum attention to rules and regulations. 4 2. RULES AND REGULATIONS 2.1. General Rules and Regulations All the rules and regulations mentioned in the participation contract are integral part of this manual. All the rules and regulations mentioned in this manual are valid between MMI and the exhibitor. MMI keeps the rights to revise, update or cancel the rules and regulations without prior notice to exhibitors or third parties. A schedule for the application deadlines of orders and informations has been prepared. All the exhibitors should pay attention to this time schedule. It is strictly forbidden to carry the exhibited products or equipment outside the venue during the exhibition period (within the visiting hours or not). In extraordinary cases written permission from MMI is required. All the catering services will be supplied by CONGRESIUM ANKARA at the venue. It is forbidden to bring or order meals to the venue. Please contact CONGRESIUM ANKARA for your catering needs. You can find the contact details of CONGRESIUM ANKARA at page 10 of this manual. The cleaning of common areas and corrideurs are provided by MMI during the exhibition period. If participants want stand cleaning they should order using online exhibitor center, ''Additional Services''. The organic waste will be collected in periods during the visiting hours by MMI. The construction waste arising during set-up and dismantling period should be removed and disposed of the fair ground by the exhibitors. If this service is requested from MMI, it will be charged to exhibitor additionally. Exhibitors should not perform activities that will disturb other stands. Exhibitors should complete their ''Exhibitor Badge Registration'' within time schedule to get exhibitor badges. Exhibitor badges will be delivered on April 14-15, 2015 at MMI Eurasia Technical Office in Congresium. All exhibitors, and their temporary staffs must have badges. There will be no allowance to fairground without badges. There is wi-fi internet service at the venue. Exhibitors will have free access to this service (up to 2 access points for each exhibitor). Additional requests should be purchased from venue. The quality and speed of this service is directly related with capacity and other technical limits of internet. The pass-cards for wi-fi internet will be distributed with exhibitor badges on April 14-15, 2015 from MMI Eurasia Technical Office at the venue. Exhibitors can have one free car park card if they request. The free car park cards will be distributed with exhibitor badges on April 14-15, 2015 from MMI Eurasia Technical Office at the venue. IFAT Eurasia fair catalogues will be delivered to exhibitor stands on April 16-17, All exhibitors are obliged pursuant to the provisions of the Law No on the workers health and safety to notify the names of all employees they and their sub-contractors employ in the course of set-up, exhibition and dismantling period to MMI and obtain name badges for them. No person without badge will be allowed into the exhibition area during set-up, exhibition and dismantling period. Exhibitors are obliged to provide all training courses and notices required by the law to all persons they employ before, during and after the exhibition. Exhibitors are obliged to make sure that their sub-contractors fulfill the requirements of the said law and the relevant regulations. MMI assumes that the information provided by the exhibitors complies with the relevant laws and regulations. 4

Additionally, exhibitors that participate with special stand decoration should send project drawings for approval. MMI will check the project s suitability and will inform exhibitor. Exhibitors that participate with special decoration stand should also fill the electricity order. Catalogue Entry is obligatory for all exhibitors. If Catalog Entry is not filled within time schedule exhibitors information will be published with information provided from contract. Exhibitor Badge Registration should be completed till March 20, Exhibitors should also register temporary staff badges for the personnel that will work during set-up and dismantling period (including stand constructors staff). Exhibitor badges can be collected on April from MMI Eurasia technical office at the venue. Temporary staff badges can be collected at the cargo entrance gates during set-up time. Stand Furniture&Additional Equipment orders should be filled if additional equipment and stand furniture is needed. Additional Services order should be filled if temporary staff (Host, hostess, cleaning or security service) is needed. Please do not forget to inform all employees to MMI. Due to 6331 job security law, all employees including temporary staff (except the ones provided by MMI) must be infomed to MMI. Advertisement&Promotion Options should be used if exhibitors want to order catalogue and brochure advertisements or venue promotions. Exhibitors should use online exhibitor services at to provide necessary information to MMI Rules and Regulations for Outdoor Exhibition Area 24 Hours security guards from will be on duty for general security. We recommend individual guards for your stands and exhibits. Please order your individual guard requests Additional Services / Other Temporary Staff. MMI will provide 4 line, 3 phase, 380/220, 50Hz electricity, as requested at Participation Type Information. This service will cost 12 + VAT(%18) per KW. Compressed air and water services are not available in the outdoor exhibiton area. Any work in area ground is prohibited without written permission. Digging and anchoring is prohibited. Every exhibitor is obliged to obtain information about; stand allocation, location and dimensions of any built-in parts, supply points and distribution points. Every exhibitor is obliged to take measures about the weather conditions and the precautions about the same. All outdoor exhibitors are responsible for their stand s structure safety, and must pay maximum attention to slope and structure of ground. All structures and stands which should be set up in the open area require prior confirmation from MMI. All general rules and regulations that are mentioned in the exhibitor contract and the exhibitor manual will also be valid for open area exhibitors. 5

6 All exhibitors need to advise the dimensions and specifications of all the products that will be exhibited until March 10, 2015, together with the special decoration project drawings. MMI will prepare a traffic schedule for both the set-up and dismantling period. All exhibitors must act according to this schedule. Roads and vehicle access areas may not be blocked by stand structures or other such items at any time including stand set-up and dismantling periods. 3. TECHNICAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 3.1. Set-up and Dismantling Rules Exhibitors should participate either with standard stand or special decorated stands. All participants should inform their participation type by filling Participation Type Information. Exhibitors who participate with special decorated stands should send their project drawings additonally to MMI for approval. MMI will check the drawings and inform exhibitors about approval till March 14, Exhibitors who request additional stand furniture or equipment should fill ''Stand Furniture & Additional Equipment'' within the deadlines. The visuals of the furniture and equipment can be seen at the ''Stand Furniture & Additional Equipment'' module. 2 kw electricity connection is provided for standard stands. Exhibitors who participate with special decorated stands need to order only electricty. Standard stands will be delivered on April 15, 2015 till 12:30 pm. MMI keep the rights to change this time in extraordinary conditions. Exhibition s official forwarder agency is Schenker Arkas. All handling operations at the fair ground will be handled by them. Please contact Schenker Arkas for your forwarding, custom and handling needs. You can find contact information of Schenker Arkas at page 10 of this manual. Cranes and fork lifts are not allowed to enter the fair ground. The trucks will be accepted to enter as long as the conditions of the venue is suitable at the entrance period. Exhibitors should take out all goods that they exhibit, decoration materials and every type of waste till 17:00, April 19, All the materials that left at fairground after the deadline will be treated as waste and taken out by MMI. This service will be charged to the exhibitor additionally. Exhibitors should follow the legal regulations together with the rules and conditions mentioned within this manual and the participation contract. All materials used for construction of the stands must be non-flammable. The floor of the venue is concrete except some locations which are granite. The concrete floor has a floor weight capacity of 1000 kgs per squaremeter. The granite floor is not suitable for heavy load. All the exhibitors should pay attention to the above capacities while building up their stands and selecting the products that they will present. Before building up the booths, a coverage item should be used to prevent possible damages on the granite floor. In case of any damage, the exhibitor will be responsible for the repairs. It is forbidden to nail, screw or lash any item of the construction itself to the floor. 6

7 The ceiling of the fairground can not be used for fixing any stand module. Exhibitors can not hang anything to the ceiling. Any type of production for stand construction at the fair ground is forbidden including painting and cutting. Exhibitors or their contractors must bring ready modules and do the assembly work. Exhibitors who participate with special decoration must add the contact information of their contractors to the project drawings which they should send to MMI Technical Specification of standard stands The structure of the stands, the walls, the side load-bearing walls and roof joints can not be changed. The walls and the construction should not be used to carry heavy materials. It is forbidden to damage the walls with paper, adhesive, nail or screw. In case of a damage, the cost will be charged to the exhibitor. Exhibitors that participate with standard stand should choose this option and, if they need additional equipment or stand furniture, they can order from ''Stand Furniture & Additional Equipment'' at Exhibition Center. If exhibitors want to provide their stands from MMI, they should prefer this option or choose a stand type from page 8 and order their additional stand equipment. 7

9 3.4. Other Technical Specifications The maxiumun height can only be 5 meters inside the hall. The maximum height limitations are valid for the stand walls. Please contact MMI for the exhibit products that are higher than 5 meters. The height of the walls between neighbouring stands should not exceed 2,5 meters. This limit can be revised with prior acceptance of MMI to 5 meters as long as the exceeding part is completely clean and white. More than 1/4 of the borders of the stands can not be closed and should not block the entrance or general sight. MMI will provide electricity according to the demands of the exhibitors in technical limits. Exhibitors who require three-phase electricity can apply with the available current limits (AC 380 V, 50 hz, 10 kw). It is on exhibitors risk and account to get a professional electricty service to arrange the electrical connection with providing fuse box and/or distribution box. The electrical connections will be controlled by the venue and electricity will not be supplied to the ones that are not found appropriate. Exhibitors should inform MMI about the electricty demand. The organizer is not responsible from sudden changes in the voltage. Therefore MMI suggests uninterruptible power supplies to be used for sensitive machinery and equipment. All the cables, connectors and components should comply with the standards. All the connections should be made in accordance with the legislations by authorized electricians. 9

10 4. ADDITIONAL SERVICES 4.1. Stand Hostess/Host and Interpreter Exhibitors should use ''Additional Services'' for their stand hostess and interpreter demands. Fair Catalogue MMI is preparing a fair catalogue for IFAT Eurasia The fair catalogue will include the information about all exhibitors that send their entries in due time. The fair catalogue will be distributed to public authorities, trade associations, consulates and commercial councellors. The fair catalogue will also be distributed to all the exhibitors. The catalogue will be available for an additional fee for every visitor (max pieces). Exhibitors should complete Catalogue Entry which includes product groups and company info before March 10, This service is free of charge Conference & Fair Brochure MMI is preparing a conference & fair brochure for IFAT Eurasia This brochure will include the exhibitor list, hall plans and information about the supporting programme. The conference & fair brochure will be distributed free of charge to all visitors Advertisement & Promotion Options There are advertisement options at fair catalogue, conference & fair brochure. Exhibitors also have an option to publish their logo at the fair catalogue with a small fee. Please complete your orders from ''Advertisement & Promotion Options'' till March 20, 2015 to benefit from these options. 11
