Privacy thanks to separable dressing and bathroom 70 cm-wide entry door * * After some less than positive experiences on their holiday travels, Heidi and Lothar Schleinkofer decided to design a motorhome specially for couples which would reflect the needs and wishes of this target group as a whole. With this in mind, they set about developing an all-round concept in 009, based on an alcove motorhome. The design was then realised by a renowned motorhome manufacturer. The motorhome just for couples was presented to the public for the first time at the CMT in Stuttgart (Germany) in 0. Over the following months, the Schleinkofers held countless discussions with other motorhome users and continued to analyse their needs in great detail. An attractive, practical kitchen, a comfy seating area, a bathroom with a proper shower and a bicycle garage were the most commonly expressed wishes, reports Lothar Schleinkofer. One popular request or rather a clear demand to manufacturers was for single beds. Many women in particular expressed a wish to enjoy the same comforts as at home. Based on these findings, the couple developed a vision combining the highlights of the existing concept with the advantages of an integrated motorhome: now all they had to do was find a suitable manufacturer. Here in Bad Waldsee, they were pushing at an open door. Armed with their fund of experience, the couple met with our HYMER project team and worked with them to devise a near-perfect motorhome concept. The result was the HYMER DuoMobil, whose range of equipment features and functions makes it the ideal vehicle for a holiday for two. The new motorhome is based on the concept of a HYMER B-Class SL and thus comes with all its standard mod cons and key safety components. Large U-shaped seating area The cosy U-shaped seating area in the rear offers plenty of space to relax shown here in the version with rounded corner cushions and leather pebble decor (optional). The large panoramic windows provide a great all-round view. Adjustable table The large table is individually rotatable and adjustable, so that you have easy access to all overhead storage cupboards and can sit comfortably in the seating area shown here in the Tobago fabric design. The bed can also be lowered to make an instant guest bed (optional). Cleverly concealed Integrated in the rear shelf behind the seating area is a laptop compartment with USB, 0V and V sockets. The compartment is large enough to accommodate electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, mobiles and cameras with chargers. Modern and effective The illuminated glass cabinets offer practical, secure and decorative storage for your glassware. Corkscrews, coasters and other items can be stored in the small drawers. Plenty of cooking space The practical arrangement of the -burner hob (shown here is the optional hybrid hob) and sink unit ensures a large work surface in between. The wall-mounted spice rack gives you quick access to ingredients when cooking. Out of sight The pull-out section with integrated waste bins is a very handy feature. No need to move your kitchen waste from A to B just drop it straight into the bins from the work surface. Intelligent drawers The kitchen comes with extra-large drawers which are designed for easy top loading. An electric locking mechanism prevents them from sliding open accidentally when on the move. At your fingertips The electronic extending shelf for kitchen appliances can be lowered conveniently on demand. This is just the place for your coffee machine. And needless to say, it comes complete with the requisite power point. Handy storage Next to the refrigerator is a rear-ventilated towel drying compartment where you can hang up your wet tea towels to dry out of sight. Ideal for keeping your hand towels dry and tidied away, it also accommodates cleaning utensils and much more besides. 6

5 HYMER DuoMobil 9 Bathroom and sleeping comfort Practical equipment, quality furnishings. Separate area Here, the home-from-home comfort of a shower with room to move comes as standard. A fixed door with ceiling-high mirror separates the wet room from the living area ideal for couples with different sleeping habits. Premium bathroom A ceramic Thetford toilet and the large washbasin in luxurious Cool Glass from the HYMER B-Class SL turn the bathroom into a proper wellness suite. A good night s sleep In the front is a fold-down bed which can also be converted into two.06 and.99-metre-long single beds in a jiffy thanks to extending footrests. A clear glass rooflight ensures a constant fresh air supply. Easy entry An extending double step with hidden storage space inside provides easy access to the bed which, at just 97 cm high, leaves you plenty of headroom. Systematic added value An easily extendible footrest turns the transverse bed quickly and simply into single beds also optionally available with matching mattress topper and fitted sheet through HYMER Original Parts & Accessories. 8

6 HYMER DuoMobil Convenient storage Tailor-made solutions for all your belongings. Large garage Even bicycles are easily accommodated in the generous garage with its internal loading height of cm. And there s plenty more stowage space under the U-shaped seating area thanks to the 0 cm double floor. Simple organisation The pull-out stowage system designed exclusively for HYMER is perfect for keeping order in the garage. That way you no longer have the hassle of climbing inside to load and unload. For detailed information, visit Practical entrance Right next to the entry door you ll find the practical sideboard with two hinged shoe shelves, a cupboard for keeping items such as medicines handy and secure, and four hooks for hanging keys etc. Walk-in wardrobe A ceiling-high wardrobe extending into the double floor and equipped with two hanging rails offers plenty of space for your clothes. Next to it is an additional lift-top cupboard complete with hanging rail and lighting. Drawers galore Tidying away your linen in the dressing area couldn t be easier thanks to two small and one large pull-out drawer with Servo-Soft closing mechanisms. 0
