3 Education and Networking Sessions Forwarders and Receivers Our ever-popular, successful and cooperative session ensures that all attendees meet one another while at the same time addresses the topics that affect each of our businesses. Questions, case studies, topics come straight from our membership and are discussed in this triadic forum. Not only does this session offer useful best practices for your day-to-day operations, it is an opportunity to meet other collection agency representatives, creditors rights attorneys and law list publishers! Please submit it via to: awaggoner@commercialcollectionagenciesofamerica.com Electronic Payment Rules and Tools for Collection Agencies Commercial collection agencies increasingly rely on the ACH Network for servicing customer accounts. Speakers from NACHA-The Electronic Payments Association, which governs the ACH Network, will focus on new developments in the ACH Network for 2016 and beyond that will impact collection agency processes including Same Day ACH (increasing speed of settlement time) and the Unauthorized Entry Fee (assessing a fee for transactions returned as unauthorized). In addition, the session will feature best recommendations in areas that often challenge collection agencies, including best practice recommendations for obtaining consumer debit authorizations and consumer account verification. Finally, this session will be an opportunity for participants to ask their own questions about the ACH Network rules and features. Presenters: Robert Unger, AAP, Senior Director Product Management and Corporate Relations; and Amy Morris, AAP, Senior Director of ACH Network Rules. Cyber Attacks Against Business Payment Processes Cyber-criminals continue to successfully steal money from businesses and their trading partners. Current attacks will be reviewed with an emphasis on attacks that may be used against the remittance process used by commercial collection firms. Risk mitigation processes recommended by the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center, the FBI and the United States Secret Service will be explored. Presenter: Charles Bretz, FS-ISAC Director of Payment Risk Regulatory Issues: Not Just for Retail Agencies The association welcomes affiliate member, Standards Board Chairman and colleague of many members, Manuel H. Newburger of Barron & Newburger, PC. This program will examine state and federal regulatory issues that can impact commercial agencies. Manny will address both monetary considerations and reputational risk.

4 Education and Networking Sessions Regulator Roundtables A new and welcoming format of discussion groups with state regulators who will address current issues, specific regulations and state laws which affect collection professionals involved in the collection of commercial debt. Most importantly, this format will give the attendees the opportunity to ask questions of the regulators in a smaller group setting. We will welcome six knowledgeable NACARA (North American Collection Agency Regulatory Association) state regulators from various states who will cover a wide range of topics to answer your many questions and concerns. Texas Triadic Tournament Top off the day with some real Southern Hospitality! Corral your colleagues for a fun and unique, truly Texan competition amongst the triadic pardners. Saturday Morning Open Forum Back By Popular Demand!
