We are currently looking for a Enterprise Service Desk Specialist to work at Quantico, VA. The candidate who fills this position will be a full time employee of HP supporting our NGEN contract. Specific Job Duties Include: Under broad supervision, conduct operations in support of the Service Desk, execute scripts, answer calls, troubleshoot/resolve/and or escalate technical issues, open and close tickets, correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology Services. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET level security clearance REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - 3 years of customer service experience in an IT environment - 2 years of IT ticketing system experience. - 1 year of experience in Remote Desk Takeover tools and usage REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/S: - At least one of the following certifications in a process based platform o ITIL, HDI, CoBIT, Lean Six, Six Sigma, etc. - DoD Certified in accordance with DoD M Information Assurance Technician II (IAT II: GSEC, Security+, SSCP). EDUCATION: High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Knowledge and Skills Superior skills in both written and verbal communication Experience in customer facing role either remote or face to face Computer proficiency with applicable software applications (for example Microsoft Office, CAD, Adobe Suite, programming) Problem solving skills Accuracy in data entry Excellent fluency in language to be supported Experience in a phone based remote role, esupport, e-chat or similar Familiarity with computer technology Knowledgeable in call routing and case management processes as well as case logging systems and obligation systems

Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve incidents or events related to systems and supporting infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, clustering, Domain Name System, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. Expert knowledge of and adherence to change control standards and procedures and problem resolution and troubleshooting techniques, especially the use of remote server management tools. Work is performed in 24/7 environment and must be able to work second/third shifts, weekends, or holidays as authorized.
