27 SELCO PRODUCTS Selco designs, develops and manufactures welding equipment for the electric arc welding of steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals. Selco welders cover all major welding processes (MIG-MAG, TIG, MMA). 28 CURRENT CONTROL TECHNOLOGY Selco uses two main current control technologies : Conventional circuitry based on transformer/rectifier systems Electronic inverter circuitry For both these technologies Selco s R&D centre has developed extremely reliable and efficient configurations incorporating advanced solutions, many of which are covered by international patents. In particular, Selco was the first to launch welders based on resonant inverter circuitry on the world market. For its latest generators, Selco has also developed and integrated its new patented Multiline Three-Level Technology that guarantees high absorption efficiency from three phase power supplies.

These equipment are based on inverter current control technology, and fully digital proprietary control software, developed in Selco s own R&D centre. 30 SELCO PRODUCT FAMILIES: NEOMIG Neomig is a family of compact welding machines (with built-in wire feeders) dedicated to MIG/MAG welding and based on electromechanical current control technology. Their great reliability, robustness and efficiency make them one of the favourites in the Selco range. Software is also available for welding in synergy mode (XP version).
