4 Your innovative partner for industrial communication This is who we are HMS was founded based on an innovative university thesis project in 1988 and has grown at break-neck speed ever since. Innovation and growth are still important cornerstones for us, and we take pride in being the inventors in our industry. Today, 25 years later, our ambition still remains the same: working closely with our customers to provide world-class solutions for industrial communication. Solutions which save users time and money. For thousands of industrial companies all over the world, HMS is a trusted partner for industrial communication. HMS is there from first product specification to full-scale production, while assisting with technical services during the product life cycle.
5 Quality and reliability at heart These things just have to work HMS products handle business-critical data that keeps production lines, factories, telecommunications and industrial machinery running. This puts high demands on quality and reliability. Quality has always been at the heart of the HMS offering and everything we do, from product development and manufacturing to customer service. According to our customer surveys, it is the high quality and the longevity that customers appreciate most about our solutions. This solid quality enables us to offer unique services such as free technical support and long product guarantees. We work according to the ISO 9001:2008 quality system which fits well with the process-oriented organization at HMS. HMS has been successfully audited by leading automation companies such as ABB, Bosch, Motoman Robotics, Siemens, Schneider Electric and Rockwell Automation. These types of audits cover everything from product quality, delivery performance, general partnership, reaction time, logistics and technical support. We currently have an on-time delivery rate above 98%. Field returns are less than 0,02%. These are good numbers, but we always aim to improve. Katarina Lekander Quality Manager
