We were founded in 1928, in Manchester, and have a strong engineering heritage. BKW offer an unrivalled portfolio of process instrumentation products and services. 3 Manufacturing Our in-house engineering and CAD design team can deliver new or replicate old, obsolete and bespoke instrumentation requirements We have our own dedicated Manufacturing Facility which can produce temperature assemblies and thermowells, orifice plates and carrier assembles, spool pieces, fittings and specialist assemblies which can bespoke any standard product. Our flexible machining, welding and assembly capability enable us to provide a rapid instrument manufacturing service for our customers. We also have stocks of, or fast access to most materials, including many stainless grades and exotic metals - Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel etc. Furthermore, we are able to offer in-house added value services such as: PMI testing, Pressure testing, Dye Penetration testing, Helium Leak testing, 3.1 material certification, CAD drawing and traceable calibration. We can also undertake X-Ray and material coating such as Stellite(tm), Tungsten Carbide, PFA, Tantalum and special painting. Our capabilities extend to panel design and manufacture, special measuring design and one offs through to full turnkey project management including pipework and electrical installation.
