1 Summary of Graduate Streams Accounting & Finance Engineering (chem*, mech, elec & mining) Geoscience HR* Information Systems Law Material Science* Metallurgy Operations Sales & Marketing Supply Chain* *means stream does not have advertised vacancies for OneSteel welcomes students to apply for any stream for which they are qualified, ie. for streams such as HR, IS, Marketing & Operations we will consider all relevant degrees. For streams such as Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain, Law and Engineering we do require a specific degree match.

2 Graduate Roles Accounting & Finance Business support graduates provide day-to-day commercial analysis, aiding strategic decisions for the business Corporate Head Office graduates administer company wide initiatives such as the Employee Share Plan and Community Giving Programs; and provide commercial support for shared services like HR, Legal and IS. Shared Services graduates, support a variety of businesses in such roles as Cash Forecasting and hedging foreign exchange transactions with our internal Treasury department Plant Graduate Accountants are based on site, providing analysis of manufacturing variances and productivity measures. Grad roles as: Management Accountant, Financial Accountant. Step off the grad program into: Commercial Analyst, Commercial Manager. 3 years usually rotations of 12-18mths duration. Locations: Sydney city, Western Sydney (Parramatta or plant location), Newcastle, Whyalla, or any one of our major plant locations.

3 Graduate Roles Engineering & Science Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical & Mining Engineering Metallurgy, Material Science & Geoscience Graduates contribute to work across process improvement, product improvement, project engineering, maintenance, logistics and operations, manufacturing, systems control, safety & quality assurance. & Grad roles as: Graduate Engineer, Graduate Geologist, Graduate Metallurgist. Step off the grad program into: various supervisory roles. 3 years usually rotations of 12mths duration; in Whyalla graduates often rotate within the business rather than in & out of Whyalla Locations: Whyalla (SA), Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne.

4 Graduate Roles Human Resources Graduates experience a diversity of HR approaches and practices including HR business partnering & more centralised services. Work can span attraction & selection (recruitment), policy development, employee/industrial relations, L&D, talent management, organisational effectiveness, capability building, occupational health & safety, workforce planning, project work, performance management & more. Opportunity to develop a wide network of business contacts and create influential relationships across the business. Grad roles as: HR Graduate, HR Coordinator, Attraction & Selection Coordinator, Training Consultant, Industrial Relations Project Officer, IR Coordinator. Step off the grad program into: HR Officer, HR Advisor, Attraction & Selection Consultant. 2 years usually rotations of 12 mths duration. Locations vary, but the majority of our positions commence in either Sydney or Whyalla.

5 Graduate Roles Information Systems In our Business Intelligence or SAP divisions Grad program provides experience across developing, programming, SAP & ERP configurations, project work & business intelligence support Grad roles as: Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, BI Graduate. Step off the grad program into: BI Consultant, SAP Manager 3 years usually rotations of 12-18mths duration will generally stay in either Sydney or Newcastle in most cases for the entire 3 years. Locations: SAP roles located in Newcastle, NSW (beach location 2 hrs north Sydney). BI roles located in Sydney, NSW.

6 Graduate Roles Law One of the few companies to offer In-house Law Graduate roles. Seeking HIGH ACHIEVING graduates with excellent academic standing, strong potential to succeed and top-notch judgement skills. OneSteel Legal invest 3 years training law graduates to be a potential Legal Counsel of OneSteel. OneSteel will assist you meet the work experience requirement to being admitted and once admitted, graduates become a Graduate Lawyer. Step off the program on your way to becoming a Senior Legal Counsel. Experience challenging & interesting work, legal work in the real world, working side by side with our business AND WORK LIFE BALANCE. 3 years usually rotations of 18mths duration. Locations: most graduates typically commence in Sydney and may be rotated to Adelaide or elsewhere for a rotation.

7 Graduate Roles Operations Ops grad typically come to us with a qualification in engineering, process engineering, operations management or logistics. Ops Grads work in a warehouse or distribution environment these are not office-based roles. Work covers process improvement, logistics, supervision & frontline leadership, project management, building customer relationships, analysing data, quality assurance and ensuring we meet our promise to customers. Graduate roles include Operations Graduate, Warehouse Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, Operations Manager, Safety Coordinator. Step off the program into challenging roles that ordinarily may take 5-7 years to achieve, eg.operations Manager, Safety Advisor. 3 years usually rotations of 12mths duration. Locations: across the country, including sites in Western Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth & Fremantle, Hobart & Launceston, Wollongong & more.

8 Graduate Roles Sales & Marketing Sales & Marketing graduates can typically expect to gain experience in BOTH sales and marketing over the course of their program. Marketing roles are diverse and include analysis, strategy & communications roles. Sales roles include account management, sales analysis, internal sales & customer service roles. Marketing work can include customer base analysis, product focused market development, product catalogue building, data analysis, internet & marketing media, customer and internal communications & developing marketing materials. Sales work can include customer presentations service, account management, customer service & liaison, sales & logistics, sales budgeting, building account strategy & customer relationship building. Graduate roles include Marketing Analyst, Sales Analyst, National Marketing Officer, Business Process Improvement Coordinator, Customer Service Representative, Internal Sales Representative & Marketing Coordinator. Step off the program into roles leading to Segment Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Marketing Strategy Leader. 2 years usually rotations of 12mths duration. Locations: across the country - Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and plant & warehouse locations like Newcastle.

9 Graduate Roles Supply Chain Supply Chain grads join us with a Supply Chain qualification. Their work is office based, using analytical skills, applying supply chain/logistics theory & concepts, thinking conceptually, communicating & presenting, number crunching & managing projects. Graduate roles include Supply Chain Graduate, Supply Chain Analyst. Step off the program on their way to future roles including Demand Planning Manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager & others. 3 years usually rotations of 12mths duration. Locations: typically commencing in Sydney, with possible rotations to other major capital cities.
