2 HOLIDAY SHOPPING TRIP Mall of America / Ikea Tuesday, December 3rd We will travel to both the Ikea Shopping Area & the Mall of America. This is a perfect time to enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations at the Mall of America and maybe shop at a few unique stores in the mall. We will drop off at Ikea and then go directly to the Mall for those who do not wish to stop at Ikea. We will come back later to pick up at Ikea, before traveling back to the Mall. Price: Members $20 Prospective Members $25 Departure: New London 7:30 Spicer 7:45 Willmar 8:00 CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE Friday, December 6th Enjoy homemade goodies ~ coffee & apple cider ~ while we are entertained with Christmas music by Sally Brown at the piano, in our Willmar Branch ~ Each of our 3 branches will serve Christmas goodies during our regular business hours that day. VIVA NOEL ~ A Holiday Cirque! Mystic Lake Showroom Saturday, December 7th 2:00 p.m. show This new show s theme celebrates passion, imagination and the holiday spirit! Pushing the boundaries of imagination, Viva Noel ~ A Holiday Cirque! features aerial performers, interactive jugglers, rapping carolers, high-energy dancing and soul-stirring vocalists. Showcasing the talents of acrobats, gymnasts, contortionists, hand balancers and daredevils, the show is a surreal voyage into the imagination of a whimsical elf named Elfie who crash-lands inside the Mystic Showroom. After wandering about the room, our elf takes the audience on an exciting and surreal holiday journey. If you cannot help that day, donations may be dropped off at any of our 3 bank locations. Coffee & Treats will be served. I am working on a Laughlin, Nevada late winter get away. 3 The Phantom of the Opera Orpheum Theatre Sunday, December 15th 1:00 Production Following an acclaimed sold-out tour of the United Kingdom, Cameron Mackintosh s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber s phenomenal musical success, The Phantom of the Opera, will make its premiere in Minneapolis as part of a brand new North American Tour. Critics are raving that this breathtaking production is bigger and better than ever before. This PHANTOM features a brilliant new scenic design by Paul Brown, Tony Award-winning original costume design by Maria Bjornson, lighting design by Tony Award winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler, and a new staging by director Laurence Connor. The production, overseen by Matthew Bourne and Cameron Mackintosh, boasts many exciting special effects including the show s legendary chandelier. They will have all the materials here and will help each of you design a unique holiday masterpiece. Space will be limited, so please call me for a Cost: $20 ~ This is for GNC members. If you would like to invite a friend, the cost would be $30. This will be an enjoyable & entertaining afternoon!! DONNY & MARIE Target Center Christmas in Minneapolis Saturday, December 21 st 7:30 p.m. Production Wish a dash of Christmas spirit and their trademark show-stopping production numbers, Donny & Marie Christmas features Christmas songs and cheer plus hits from their illustrious careers all mixed with the irresistible chemistry that made them international stars leading into Osmond-Mania topping the charts. Donny & Marie mix the holiday songs and spirit of their early television specials and recordings with a nostalgic look back on their storied career in a dynamic stage show showcasing fan favorites including A Little Bit of Country, A Little Bit of Rock n Roll, Paper Roses, Puppy Love and It Takes Two. *Space is still available for this outstanding Christmas show.
