The first day of competition had many impressive scores, but with over 30 players re-buying into the tournament for one more round of play, the results were not final until the last spin. Sure enough, the winner had re-bought into the tournament and narrowly edged out our highest scoring participant from the first day. After the tournament concluded at Bellagio, play resumed at The Mirage for the championship where 45 players vied for the $250,000 cash grand prize. In a photo-finish, our Bellagio champion was edged out by an MGM Grand competitor, but still left with the second place cash prize of $100,000. We concluded the event with a $77,500 cash giveaway at the Players Club.
