This week, Scotts Ridge Elementary joined in the celebration of National School Lunch week. Our cafeteria was filled on Monday with costumed culinary delights, personnel from Child Nutrition Services, a representative from the WCPSS Communications department, and even WRAL. A huge thank you to our cafeteria staff, Chris Donovan, Mayra Santiago, and Valerie Long, for their work to make this event special and for their ongoing efforts to serve 40 breakfasts and 200 lunches to our children each day. Also a huge shout out for the commitment and hard work they put in to secure a sanitation score of 100. I guess you could say that everything is Peachy in the Scotts Ridge cafeteria! Cheers, Principal Leach PS: Here are some snapshots from National School Lunch Week! Our Assistant Principal, Mr. Evans, was feeling peachy.
