1 SERC Audio Visual Options AUDITORIUM The Auditorium is a tiered classroom that provides a front row view from every seat. This room is equipped with the latest in audiovisual technology. Used primarily for lectures, the auditorium provides the ability for audience interaction by providing every seat with a microphone combined with auto positioned cameras to allow every audience member to be both seen and heard throughout the room. Basic Features: Room rental is included in fee. Recommended for groups of people with few presenters or changes. 2 BIO- SKILLS LAB The Bio-Skills Lab is a state- of- the art lab designed to provide a real OR environment. This 3,800 square foot lab has 12 fully equipped work stations, accommodating 72 participants for optimum learning. It can also expand into the Private Development Lab, making it 4,088 square feet, to accommodate up to 15 stations. The lab is equipped with a demo station that provides the ability to stream any procedure or presentation for attendees to follow along at each work station. This demo station is equipped with a camera mounted within the surgical light to provide the best viewing angle without obstruction of the procedure. The demo station has a video annotator that will allow the presenter to draw upon any image that is being output. Basic Features: Included in Facility Fee Recommended for all groups. 3 MULTI-FUNCTION ROOM The multi-function room can be used for lectures, meals, and working lunches. It is equipped with an oak podium, projector and camera and can be configured for auditorium overflow, working lunches, case presentations and an exhibit hall. Basic Features: Recommended for groups with simple presentation needs that are able to run AV independently without SERC assistance. 4 BOARD ROOM The Board Room is a custom designed, beautifully appointed room that seats 16 plus. This room features a 90 plasma screen and touch-panel that allows users to control audio, video and lighting, as well as view video feeds from auditorium, multi-function room, and bio-skills lab. Attached is a private catering kitchen that will allow for the preparation of meals. Basic Features: Room Rental included in fee. 5 CONFERENCE ROOM EAST/WEST Conference Rooms East and West are also available for small group meetings. They offer similar features to the boardroom, but on a smaller scale for intimate discussions. Connect multiple rooms together by sending video and audio feeds to our auditorium, multifunction room or boardroom. Ideal for lab demonstrations that lets attendees sit comfortably in the auditorium while being able to view and interact with the faculty in the lab. Camera with audio or PowerPoint slides with audio recorded to the popular and versatile H.264, mp4 format for compatibility. Bring your presentation to attendees who cannot join you on-site. This interactive webcast encapsulates the audio, video and slides into one customized player that allows for each individual to arrange the player to his or her desired viewing preference.
