OUTREACH ACTIVITIES Established & Maintained an Internship Program designed to assist Members of the Community to Acquire Skills needed for Broadcast Employment: During the Reporting Period, WTRF-TV maintained and expanded the formal internship program it established in 2004 to assist members in the community to acquire skills needed for employment in the broadcast industry and to provide a valuable learning experience. As part of this program, WTRF-TV contacted local colleges, universities and trade schools to inform them of the program and the criteria for the internship program, and how to apply for enrollment in the program. Acceptance into the program is without regard to race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, mental or physical disability or handicap, marital status, ancestry or veteran's status. During this Reporting Period, four members of the community were enrolled in the internship program at WTRF-TV. These interns were from West Liberty University, Wheeling Jesuit University and Utah State University.

4 Training to Management Level Personnel as to methods of ensuring equal employment opportunity and preventing discrimination R. Charles Dusic III, Chief Financial Officer, routinely provides training and updates to Management Employees on methods of ensuring equal employment opportunities. These sessions are done at various times during the year and included a review of FCC EEO Rules and Policies and other Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination Methods, Outreach Methods, and Contacts and Recruitment Ideas. Generally, these sessions are attended by the Chief Engineer, Production Managers, News Director, General Sales Manager, Promotions Director, and General Manager. Training Programs to Enable Station Personnel to Acquire Skills That Could Qualify for Higher Level Positions: Members of the technical and engineering departments received on the job training on equipment maintenance and repair that would qualify individuals for senior level positions. Hosting of at Least One Job Fair: WTRF-TV, along with other WVMH, LLC stations, hosted a job fair in Wheeling, WV on September 25, 2014 and March 12, 2015 for the community. The job fairs were promoted online using the station website and in partnership with a local radio station. Participation in Job Fairs: WTRF-TV, along with other WVMH, LLC stations, participated in a job fair hosted by the Veterans Affairs Administration, which helps veterans be retrained and find gainful employment in the private sector. The job fair was held on April 22, Participation in Job Banks, Internet Programs, and Other Programs Designed to Promote Outreach Generally: Management representatives from WVMH meet with the current year s graduates from the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University to discuss employment opportunities at the Station and its affiliates in West Virginia. These events were held on March 2, 2015 and May 6, On September 18, 19 and 20, 2014, a management representative met with students and professors enrolled in the journalism programs at Elon University and John C. Smith University. These meetings were opportunities for journalism students to receive feedback and critiques for their job search. On November 14, 2014, a management representative attended The 2014 Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas convention to meet with prospective employees. Sponsorship of Events in the Community Designed to Inform and Educate Members of the Public as to Employment Opportunities in Broadcasting: WTRF-TV makes available to community groups and schools tours of the station. These tours include an opportunity for the groups to view the operation and facilities in action, discuss the employees duties and activities, and discuss employment opportunities at the station and in the broadcast industry generally. During this Reporting Period 13 group tours were given along with numerous individual and non-group tours. Other Activities Designed to further the Goal of Disseminating Information about Employment Opportunities: In November 2014, the Station, along with other WVMH, LLC stations, partnered with The State Journal to promote Students of Excellence Scholarship program, which awarded 66 scholarships to graduating seniors in West Virginia 60 seniors, one from each county in the state plus five at-large scholarships for students from around the state, received a $1,000 scholarship and six seniors received full scholarships.

5 WTRF-TV, on an ongoing basis, runs a 30 second spot on its air and posts a statement on its web site that notifies all community groups and organizations of the availability of vacancy information and disseminates information about employment opportunities. During this Reporting Period the 30 second spot ran 95 times.
