RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Brief Description of Activity 1 Participate in career fair On October 15, 2014, our SEU participated in the ECPI University, Virginia Beach Campus Fall Career Fair. Station participants included our Director of Engineering/IT and Assistant Engineer/IT Tech, who accepted resumes and discussed employment and internship opportunities with potential applicants. 2 Participate in career fair On March 11, 2015, our SEU participated in the ECPI University, Virginia Beach Campus Fall Career Fair. Station participants included our Director of Engineering/IT and Assistant Engineer/IT Tech, who accepted resumes and discussed employment and internship opportunities with potential applicants. 3 Participate in career fair On April 16, 2015, our SEU participated in the Bryant Stratton College, Virginia Beach Campus Career & Internship Fair. Station participants included our Director of Engineering/IT and Assistant Engineering/IT, who accepted resumes and discussed employment and internship opportunities with potential applicants.

6 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Brief Description of Activity 4 Internship Program (General) Our SEU hosts an internship program for college students interested in radio careers. Students are given the opportunity to work within our SEU and receive academic credit while learning about station operations and the radio industry generally. Interns assist various departments, including Programming, Promotions, Sales and Business. Some of their responsibilities include conducting research for and assisting with the production of the morning programs and helping with set-up for various visiting artists. During this reporting period our SEU sponsored three (3) student interns. Information about these internships follows: 1 intern from Norfolk State University Department of Music Media 6/6/14 8/22/14; 1 intern from Hampton University (Department of Music Recording Technology) 6/9/14 8/8/14; 1 intern from Old Dominion University 5/11/15 5/29/15 5 Internship Program (ECPI College of Technology Partnership) This SEU also hosts an internship program in partnership with ECPI College of Technology. Students interested in radio careers are given the opportunity to work within our SEU and receive academic credit while learning about station operations and the radio industry generally.
