RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES Type of Recruitment Initiative Brief Description of Activity 1 Internship Program Our SEU offers internship opportunities to college students during their junior or senior year on an on-going basis. Area colleges and universities are contacted regularly and are sent copies of internship applications to distribute to interested students. During this reporting period our SEU hosted twenty four (24) student interns: Seven (7) in the Fall/Winter of from the University of Missouri Kansas City, 1 from Longview Community College, 1 from Northwest Missouri State University, 1 from University of Kansas and 1 from Johnson County Community College; Six (6) in the Spring of from Avila University, 1 from Kansas City Kansas Community College and 1 from Johnson County Community College; Eleven (11) in the Summer of from University of Missouri Kansas City, 2 from Johnson County Community College, 1 from Avila University, 1 from Maple Woods Community College, 1 from Central Missouri State University, 1 from Lindenwood University and 1 from the University of Kansas. The interns are supervised by the SEU s Promotions Coordinator and assist with a variety of tasks in the promotions, programming and sales departments. They also accompany SEU on-air, engineering and sales staff members to SEU events including remote broadcasts, onair personality appearances, music artists appearances, etc.

9 Type of Recruitment Initiative Brief Description of Activity 2 Host Job Fair On October 7, 2014, our SEU hosted The Kansas City Fall Job Fair at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. The event was attended by employers from across the metro area that handed out information about their companies, took applications, and interviewed potential applicants. There were approximately 1,200 attendees. The SEU spoke to applicants about possible careers in the broadcasting field. In attendance for the SEU were the Market Manager, the General Sales Manager for KCFX, the General Sales Manager for KCMOFM(AM), the General Sales Manager for KCHZ, the Vice President of Sales, KMJK Program Director, Sales Representatives, the Director of Marketing, and the Promotions Coordinator. 3 Host event/program for educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting On October 22, 2014 we hosted a tour of our facilities for eleven (11) Concorde Career College students. In addition to the tour of the facilities, we talked about career opportunities for adults re-entering the job market, specifically for broadcasting, and more generally about re-entering the job market at this point in time with all the developing technologies. 4 Participate in Job Fair On November 13, 2014, our SEU participated in a Professional Sales Recruiting Event at the Embassy Suites in land Park, Kansas. The event was hosted by the Sales Job Network. Applicants interviewed with various SEU staff about positions available in our sales organization. SEU participants included the Market Manager, the Vice President of Sales, the General Sales Manager for KCHZ, the General Sales Manager for KCFX and the General Sales Manager for KCMOFM(AM). 5 Host Job Fair On March 3, 2015, our SEU hosted the Kansas City Spring Job Fair at Union Station in Kansas City Missouri. There were 80 employers present to hand out information about their companies, take applications, and interview potential applicants. There were approximately 1,200 attendees. The SEU spoke to applicants about possible careers in the broadcasting field. In attendance for the SEU were the Market Manager, the Vice President of Sales, the General Sales Manager for KCFX, the General Sales Manager for KCMOFM(AM), the General Sales Manager for KCHZ, the KMJK Program Director, Sales Representatives, the Director of Marketing, and the Promotions Coordinator.
