Below are suggestions of items that may be included. This will be programmed to be "on top" of the Working Pages, seamlessly. When the project is complete we will either provide a generic landing page or remove the Alumni Outreach completely. If, an archive of stories is deemed to be necessary this can be handled with a link to these pages OR information can be input into the Working Pages through a CMS. Opening Phase 1 and Phase 2: Animation or "sell" of recent alumni stories (5 to 8 stories each phase); Submit Your Story: Ability for participants to upload their stories and/or photo (these will be reviewed first by an administrator). Administrator access to database of names and stories; Review Stories/Search Stories/Wall of Names: Ability for participants to view uploaded stories possibly presented as a "wall of names" with a click through to each story; Other elements as appropriate and as budget allows: See IX Hear Stories; Featured Stories; Campaign News Section; Contest for Sharing Your Story; etc.; Mobile and ipad: Customize and/or optimize for mobile and ipad compatibility; and, QR Code Page: with audio and stories (voice over not included in cost) (b) Working Pages (built on CMS): These will be updatable through a CMS. Will be built in HTML or JQuery using either a Custom CMS or an off-the-shelfcms like Druple or Wordpress. Following are suggestions of items that may be included. 3 This includes a stan,dard "template" page for future undetermined page to be added: About The StepUp Project; About the Foundation; History; COD Impact; Success Stories; Social Network Links; Contact Us; etc. (c) 10 Be Determined: The following pages or features will be added to the site but mayor may not have a CMS depending on portals to be used that are currently unknown; or, strategies that are still to be determined: Donate: ability for participants to donate online either through CODs existing tool or through PayPal or similar existing module; Signup/Share: Standard signup for news and share devices. This includes access to database of names for signup-this is only "to be determined" in as fur as it is effected by CMS requirementsthis will be on the website, just need to determine processes and functions; and, SE~ Setup and Report Protocols: Initial SE~ setup Phase 1+2: $14,000 Website Hosting, Maintenance and Eblast Campaign Annual fee of $3,000 to cover all activity listed below for one year, Le.: September 01, 2011 to August 31, Thereafter hosting can/will be switched to COD, as required. Services/activity includes: Managed Hosting; Establish and submit monthly Urchin and Google Analytic reports; Establish basic organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) including submitting and registering site domains; Error checking, site review, and general technical support (as it applies to hosting); Organic SE~ monthly activities (review stats, key phrases and keywords, resubmitting and registering site(s) and domains, revising keywords, key phrases and content rich text). 4 All website (not eblas\) content updates, per Phase, provided weekly and/or monthly (!;chedule to be determined). These updates include adding new content (per Phase) and/or changing and updating content on the site-this does not include new designs (over and above the two phases) or new programming. S3,OOO annual fee Provisions and Conditions Not to Exceed Estimate: This is a "not to exceed" estimate for all work performed unless such work is an author's correction or change order. Author's Corrections/Change Orders: CLM Design Advertising Interactive (jjereinafter referred to as Designer) will establish "approval milestones" after which College ofthe Desert Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Clien\) will be charged author's corrections. Author's corrections are changes in direction or requirements after sign off and/or approval. These milestones, established with the Client, include very clearly defined steps such as: sign off of site map; sign off of selected design proposal; sign off offirst test pages; and so on. Payment Schedule: Creative Services/Programming Fees will be due and payable as follows: Website Phase 1 and Phase 2: Fifty percent (50%) or Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00) is due to begin the project. A further Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) will be due at the launch of Phase 1. The balance of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) will be due and payable at the launch of Phase 2. Hosting, Maintenance, Eblasts: Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) due and payable on September 1, Creative Services Fee Phase 1: Fifty percent (50%) or Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00) is due to begin the project. The balance of Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00) will be due and payable at launch. Creative Services Fee Phase 2: Fifty percent (50%) or Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) is due to begin Phase 2; the balance will be due upon launch of Phase 2. Cancellation of Project: If the Client curtails the project before it is completed, Designer will invoice the Client for the work completed through the date of termination and return any monies due to the Client from the down payment, should this apply. Copyright Notice: Copyright notice for the Website shall appear in the name of the Client unless specified to.the contrary. Other copyright notices, such as for photography, video, illustration, and music, shall be included as required in the relevant releases. 5 produced including, but not limited to, the website, website tools, logos, all creative produced by designer on behalf of Client. Designer retains the right to make portfolio use ofthe items or parts thereof after the launch of, the website. Authorship credit in the name of Designer shall appear on the Website. Responsibilities and Confidentiality: Designer agrees that any assets supplied by Client, whether for use in the creative/branding elements or in relation to the business purposes for their development, shall be treated as confidential and neither disclosed to third parties nor used in anyway other than for the development of said items. At the completion of work, Designer shall return to Client the assets supplied by Client. Releases: The Client warrants that it has the right to enter into an Agreement and that Client owns or has obtained appropriate Website usage and Print rights for any assets supplied by the Client to Designer. The Client shall indemnify and hold harmless Designer and its subcontractors against any and all claims, lawsuits, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising in connection with the project. This indemnification shall extend to assets obtained by Designer on Client's behalf.
